These look interesting. Very little in stock though. These look cool. I haven't been wearing khakis lately, I still have a pair of Bill's originals I have not even put on.

I like the boots he's wearing. I wonder how long until coupon codes can work on these. Sits below waist. Straight through hip, slim through thigh. Narrower leg. 15" leg opening That's not going to work for a lot of us..

I wonder if Buzz uses a similar fabric as cramerton since they are trying to repro those.

You'll have to let us know how they compare. I kinda like the military pocket flaps on the RRL.

You'll have to let us know how they compare. I kinda like the military pocket flaps on the RRL. There will probably be a big difference in feel. The RRL are 10.8 of rigid twill that's dyed with an unstable dye made to fade. These nearly feel like denim. The Buzz will probably feel like regular chinos, only thicker/heavier. Like a step up from the 8.2 oz. Duck Head "Cramertons"...same sort of soft, floppy twill...just heavier.

Can't wait for the buzz ricksons to get in. I wish they had khaki color instock but I got the beige. Hopefully they aren't exactly the same as IH-707's.

Yeah, I am definitely interested to hear how those two compare. If the IH feel thicker and heavier, I may spring for those before they too disappear from Rakuten and have them similarly tapered/hemmed.

I sized down to a 34 and it's perfect. I'm a 36 in everything else.

The 707s are great and I love them as well but they are definitely a straight fit which isn't everyone's cup o tea.

Damn smallish waist with huge legs. Sale on cramerton

They fit me great as well, but just saying that a straight fit doesn't work for everyone

Bills website is back up after some changes. A couple sizes of the button fly selvedge cramerton available. These are awesome. I'm a little tempted to get another pair. The M3 fit is great by me. Not skinny/ not baggy.

But with real buttons instead of metal shank, which is stronger but ironically looks cheap on chinos. Decisions decisions.

Just gotta believe! If you let them go, and they don't come back, it wasn't meant to be..or something.

just throw in my two cents here too if it helps anybody make a decision one way or the other; The Iron Heart 707's definitely have more of a Dickies type work pant look to them. I have had several people ask me if they are Dickies when I wear them. That is the look I like in Chinos and if that is the look you are going for as well then I'd say go for those.
If you're going for more of a Jake from State Farm office look then they probably won't be the best option. Judging by the pics I've seen so far it looks like those Cramerton's would be the one's to go for. They seem to have a softer look to them.

Paying a couple hundred dollars only for people to ask me if they're Dickies. I'd be like, "NO! THEY ARE IRON HEART!" and then kick them down a well.

Ahhh....I would feel the same way but you're missing the point. When people have brought it up to me it always starts with..."those are nice, are those Dickies??!!" As in, they have a work pant type appearance but look much nicer than Dickies so people are confused. When they say that they are saying they look nice but they're kind of confused because they haven't seen Dickies look that nice.
