My style is slowing moving away from solely work boots. Spring is coming anyway and I am all into sneaker. Just need a pair of Common Projects and I am good..... except my wallet says no.

I have seriously wondered if the Gustins and Common Projects aren't made in the same factory. They look very similar. Well, both are based on the same margom sole, and neither is selling a terribly complicated design. Other than the gold lettering, I'd guess you couldn't tell them apart on someone's foot, and I'd prefer no gold lettering if I were choosing.

After seeing the navy chamois on the Truman IG feed, I'm really hoping they have that leather when the new site goes live. I shot them an email, and they shot me down..jk, sort of. They said the navy chamois was a custom MTO and there wasn't enough of it to make it available to the public. They are looking into doing a blue suede boot, but the navy chamois is not an option. They will try to source more of it, but they only had enough leather to make a few pairs. So sad.

Allen Edmonds Daltons are being sold at the Shoebank for under $200, and models with dainite soles are included. An absolute steal.

I have those. They're pretty squared off. If you want a pair of lightly worn 9.5's, I'd be more than happy to lose them.

Probably I'm thinking as they look pretty thin to begin with.

One of the most uncomfortable lasts I have. Will avoid it in the future at all costs. They are narrow as shit in the toe box and loose at the strap and tight again in the heel. An all around terrible shoe.

I have never owned a pair of AE's, Im just in need of some better black wingtips and would love a casual short wing but these AE's are a bit to dressy for what I'm looking for.

Haha, yeah, don't start with their longer, narrower lasts. Strands are probably the most versatile AE and very comfortable. Strandmoks are also great, a little more casual and have a Dainite sole. The all black one is awful though. The Norwich is a simple single strap, still a little stretched, but much more confortable than my Francos.

I'm wearing black shoes with black soles now, but for semi casual, natural soles sure work better.

But my kid's cute as shit and learning to walk, my wife's pretty cool, my new Red Wings are broken in and amazingly comfy and I've got some anniversary jeans coming that should crock up some more stuff. Time to order a natural Tanner wallet.
