I was in the process of buying some but got fed up with their CS and language barrier. There is an app that they like to use to communicate. It's a whole thing that I'm just not into getting into......if that makes sense. PM drewcandraw. He has a pair on order. Best of luck, I just don't have the patience at the moment nor the inclination to gamble as I've had enough difficulties with the online boot/clothes ordering process to with reputable makers to want to deal with the Indonesian + New Business + New Last (to me) fitting variables. |

disheveled drop em a DM, works best to communicate with them. Use simplier english if possible but I think they are using google translate now since they sent me a doc with the makeup. I just got my sc2089 and its pointier than my trumans. I have a post on SF about my thoughts. They have a new last nh2078/nh2089 which is more round and less pointy as everyone requested it. I got navy shells and I like the leather, like i said on SF I have no clue about shell but looks good to me. Contrary to North getting bad CS, they have been great to me lol. I got a tee shirt thrown in and it shipped out last friday and got to me today from Indonesia to California. The construction look better than my pair of trumans. I am actually in the process of getting a grey roughouts from them lol as they threw me an extra 15% off. I'll get pictures up later this week so you can see but my boots are on Junkards IG. Read my post on SF and if you got any questions let me know. So far I can dig them for the quality and value at the price point. I know its not made in USA but the quality/construction/customer service was there for me so I took the plunge.

disheveled no problem, i think main takeaway is dont think of junkards as a replacement for viberg shells or truman boots, or you may feel underwhelmed. I feel they are bang for the buck and have great CS as of now. bentin took me a couple of years to get a hang of Reddit, i had to ask a buddy how to use it lol and understand wtf is a subreddit. I don't really post on there cause it's sometimes douche in Goodyear Welt. But I do like reading reviews and also in progress pictures of a couple of dudes who handmake shoes. They are pretty legit and helpful when it comes to new leathers.

Yeah, you need to add GYW to the rotation. After you get up to speed on everything you can just peek in a couple times and see whats happening and stay caught up. GYW is pretty much ground zero for GMTO (group made to order) with a fair amount of crossposting in the MTO section of SF. And SF is a great resource for shoes and boots. I just went over there and counted my subs that involve shoes/boots, keep in mind not all of them are active, and I came up with 11. Have fun! |

I dunno. I used to follow him when I was on IG but quickly lost interest after all the foodie shots. he has good style though. I like Cory Mahlke's IG feed because he's always posting funny and creative pics. his is by far the most unique feed i've come across. |

Yeah, they used three different leathers in different areas, for their unique qualities:
"Scotch Grain on the wing cap and counter for protection in high contact areas, Repello Suede on the vamp for comfort and flexibility, and Calf on the shaft for durability and form."
Im not sure what the recommended care will be when I talk with the guys at Divisionroadinc. But, at this point, I dont plan on babying 'em.
5 boots to rule them all... lol

I've never heard of him before. Thanks for the suggestion. Also a twin cities guy...bonus. Are twin cities IG feeds taking over men's fashion? I don't mind the food shots in bothrops1 feed. Gives me something to aspire to once I'm rid of the kids in 10 years. I don't wear ties, nor can I wear jeans to work, but I like his style too. Not a big fan of the high cuff on the pants though, as others have noted. Mostly I posted in reference to his boot collection, which is sort of ridiculous. That poet/boot collector guy that someone else mentioned is kinda crazy too. Makes my single pair of RW Beckmans seem inadequate. |

I got kinda turned off by IG in a way because all the people I followed seemed to have the same feed. I guess I got overloaded on denim, boots, shirts and jackets. In a way it started to look like a pissing contest to see who could post the latest and greatest first. |
