I'd still like too see basic pricing for manny's RTW stuff versus his custom stuff. It would certainly give those of us on the fence a better idea of what we can expect to pay

It would certainly give those of us on the fence a better idea of what we can expect to pay I'm not exactly sure if he has any RTW items as of right now. Right now it seems that the MTO stuff may be a temporary thing until he's able to dial in the RTW products. If your looking for a specific item just send him a pic of what you'd like. He'll let you know a price and a time line. I sent him a pic of a Indigo Canvas Shirt from Rogue Territory, asked for a few changes (I wanted Red interior thread). He gave me a price. And it's being made.

I'm sure he's got some RTW stuff on his etsy page - he did the last time I checked.
The MTO proposition is pretty cool. I've been trying to decide whether or not I want a slim fitting type3 that sits longer in the torso (like Ciano Farmer's) or a Lee 101 rider style jacket with a longer waist. I haven't pulled the trigger on a Lee 101 Rider jacket because they're all incredibly short like most truckers. but, i'd like to know which fabrics Manny has available or is able to source.
Coincidentally, my best fitting jacket is my cheap Levi's waxed canvas trucker, which just happens to sit below the waist. I think I would probably tweak the waist just a hair and maybe extend the length by 1", but i'd also want an interesting and unique fabric. I'm torn because an indigo trucker will always be a classic look, but i'm also interested in a black trucker like Taylor Stitch's long haul trucker. I'd want the cool selvedge strip down the middle too. the trick is how to make it unique. If Manny could source a heavier weight selvedge fabric (maybe in the 15-16oz range) that has an interesting warp/weft combo i'd probably go for it.

indigogene, can you tell me are the back pockets lined? Also how does one pick the pocket bag material? One of the reasons I don't want another Gustin pair is their flimsy pocket bag material wich I know will blowout. for sure I will use canvas between 7 and 9 oz in basic colors like black, brown, blue, natural, white, and sometimes with pattern (optional) but always canvas. I was not planned to use liner on back pockets but now i will to put all to make more strong pockets. i hope next week we can have my website ready for everyone .

great. i'll check PB's website to give me an idea of what Manny can source. i'd like to find an interesting black denim for him to make a pair of jeans. either something along the lines of the heavy blackXcoal that G has used, or something fairly textured with a white weft.

another option would be for us to organize a group buy for a slim fit type3 selvedge trucker. not sure how many of you would want something like this but if we could all agree on a fabric/details maybe Manny could work something out for us.

I'm down for this but a Type II with a fabric 16 oz+. I'm theoretically getting a 23 oz type III from CF but i don't know at this point

I haven't paid them yet because they are still dialing in the final jacket. They sent me their first two samples and the arms were humungous. They said they would redesign and get back to me. I haven't gotten an update in about a month. I asked CF about getting a jacket back in January.

I haven't talked with Ciano for a while, but would assume at this point and time, they have a large backlog they are trying to work down. It might be that with only a 2 person sewing operation, the custom stuff is taking a back seat to standard orders. Have you tried contacting them to see where there at with your jacket?

Griffin It's not the secret denim, its 23 oz and sanfanorized but you're funny

This is why I'm glad I started with custom suits and then Gustin. I'm working out details for a lined Slim Type III with Ciano. They are going to make a sample and we'll go from there. Looking at the measurements he sent the sleeves are too long by 1.5 inches and the waist is too big by an inch, but we'll see.

Were you going with an IxI 14oz denim? What kind of lining? I've debated whether or not I'd want lining but its an added cost that i don't think i need

That's right, you mentioned this a few threads back. What's C.F. charging out of curiosity?
