Well I want to let you guys know something about what I'm doing. I saw and checked out some of the other bigger brands, and honestly the quality isn't something that impresses me because I saw that they produce in quantity, so many times they're not as interested in the quality. Not for the owner but for the people that manufacture them. When I make someone's product, we take the enough time to make it, trying to take care of the quality, for example the shirt of digdug, I dedicated my time into it, to make it as he wanted it. I think it's an equal cost. Now the prices, depend on the kind of fabric, some fabrics are worth more. And I will make a price list for any standard work. I will make chinos, basic jeans, military pants, jackets, vests, and shirts and little by little make leather jackets Thank you to everyone who have had interest in us and I will work hard to make the best to impress you guys. Atta boy Manny . Please dont take anything said in here as an insult. Forums are great places to get a brand off the ground but they are so much more than that. You will hear suggestions, questions, doubts & debates about your brand as well as people flat out disagreeing with something you come up with. You need to treat this place just like a rapper would an underground mixtape tour. This forum is your test market where the forum members will help you dial in your pricing, styles and business plan. Pay attention to the people who are buying from you and what they are asking for. You need to look at this or any forum you are fortunate enough to be accepted by as a way to figure things out. If you can make a few bucks while doing that you are ahead of the game. I think the best thing to do is to keep a lid on everything until you can dial everything in. If you try to break free to fast and then have to make changes in front of a larger audience you will risk looking like you have no plan My point is if you hear people discussing pricing with them mentioning "Iron Heart" as a comparison, you now know people are placing a value on what you are doing. This is normal for any consumer so its not disrespect but actually insight on how your immediate customers think. If I were u i would read the forums and how your actual customers feel about other brands. Forget about checking out "BIGGER BRANDS" and how well their stuff is made because they are big for a reason. Concentrate on what is in front of you and u will do fine. We all know about a guy who said he was the Ferrari of denim and look at where that got him

I think its important too that Manny prices his goods so that he's not losing money and that he's at least making some profit. We as consumers have to realize that Manny is offering custom work, and his prices should reflect that. But he's also in a position where he has to compete for our business, otherwise, some will go elsewhere and buy off the rack.
Im so tempted to ask Manny to make me a custom type3, but im really trying to force myself not to splurge. Thinking up something unique is kinda fun.

I can tell you that indigogene jeans fit me better than any other jeans I own. I'm not sure what price you can put on that. As a matter of fact, I just ordered another pair. Quality, fit and speed of delivery works for me.

Quality, fit and speed of delivery works for me. My Lawless jeans fit me great just like Indigogene but thats because Manny made them in both occasions. Fit with style a close 2nd are most important to me. Quality lifetime guaranteed bad fitting clothing only means I will look like shit for longer

wdw I do not know if Manny made my three Lawless shirts but I can tell you that the forearms on all three were extremely narrow, narrower than IH or any other brand out there for that matter. So narrow that it was painful for me to bend my elbows while wearing the shirt. I measured the forearms on the LD shirts and then measured the forearms on about 7 or 8 of my other shirts of different brands and the LD forearms were nearly an inch smaller. That is actually my biggest gripe about my Lawless shirts. So you might want to make sure you specify to him how wide you want your forearms to be on your shirts.

I have an IH shirt and another on the way. I also have a 9.5oz chambray that manny made. I'll let you know how they compare. I can tell you I didn't feel restricted in it and I've worn it a few times already. I'll do some fit checks and report back.

Thanks, ickes, I think I remember you saying that at the time, now. I don't have big arms, but my IH shirts are the narrowest sleeves I have, narrower than I'd like as I like to roll them up, and the only weak area that I can see. I definitely wouldn't want narrower, so that would be a showstopper. CF is changing his too-wide sleeves following customer feedback, so hopefully Manny will do the same, but opposite. It would be interesting to hear what other Indigogene shirt buyers have to say about the sleeves, and the forearms in particular.

Right now we are working on some Styles that look the same but are different in small details from other and we are trying to make them better .

About the shirts, right now everybody is giving us their measurements , But on the size chart we are working on is different than the company I worked for before, that's why the customers I work with I have much connection with to get their measures and everything right . If there's a problem with the measures or anything , I can redo them and send them back, it's not a big deal for me.

Do you have a list of fabrics that you have available or are able to get? Can you also work with waxed canvas? Just curious what options customers have

EDIT: Not sure how i quoted you lol In other news this is one of the next few pieces i am having made. The short sleeve will be in a denim 12 or 13 oz Japan while the Mandarin collar shirt will be made out of fabric I will source myself. The body will consist of a hand dyed indigo loose weave fabric with the inner placket lined with a patterned indigo dyed japanese cotton . Modern fit with a length of 32. The buttons will also go a lil further down the placket Fabric I am thinking about as a liner as well as body ABCD E

bigblack I could be convinced to buy in with DD and yourself on another one (depending on price). I like this one but it's not working for the way I wanted it to (as an layered undershirt. The neck is huge on me and makes it all lose). Just spit balling here but maybe this type of shirt would make for a good S&S anniversary shirt. You know because we (the community) Waffle so much.

Just got my Khaki Canvas Chinos from indigogene. All I can AMAZIBALLS. Fit is perfect. The pocket bags are large handed capable. Chainstiched hem. Great attention to detail. Manny sent me pics as he was constructing them. Always responded ASAP when i sent him a message. I'm happy I can send him my own measurements and makes them how i want. I can't stand slim/tapered jeans with low rise. Big guys can't fk with it on to the pics that rivet is hiding a cell phone pocket. Holds my S6 edge+ nicely. Make sure you ask for it if you get any bottoms made. Give him your phone dimensions I didn't choose the pocket lining, however Manny did and he couldn't have made a better selection. Maybe my favorite thing about them. Too bad i can't show them off all the time I don't have a full length mirror in my new apartment yet so a bathroom pic is the best i can do I may have to get rid of all my Gustin jeans and have indigogene make me new stuff
