Is it safe to say that the 16 oz crosshatch is Gustin's Okayama Std.?
EDIT*: possibly similar, Okayama Std is 14.5 oz and the Crosshatch is 16.5 oz

I found an Indonesian brand that has both the Okayama Std fabric and another 16.5 oz crosshatch that has a brownish orange ID that has similar ID as Okayama Std.

Yeah I bet I can pull these off at work too! Been there done that. I was told not to wear a pair of RRL denim chino's by my then boss in NY. I told him they were chinos not jeans. He responded but they are jeans. I told him they are chinos made out of denim. He said so they are jeans. I said no they are denim chinos . I then went into what the difference between jeans and chinos are. Jeans can be made out of denim or even corduroy material and are typically a 5 pocket. I showed him my denim chinos had 4 pockets with the front being slash. I then went into asking if he doesnt want jeans or is it denim fabric. "Neither" he said. "Oh ok now I am clear" I said. The next week I wore my Left Field indigo canvas chinos and was told I couldn't wear those. I responded they were chinos. He said but they are blue. I said yes they are. He said I told you not to wear jeans. I said these are chinos . He said they are denim.. I said no they are canvas and asked him to feel them. He said they look like jeans. and I said I QUIT, im going to work for this new denim brand who has a Charismatic guy who might have the next big thing where i can wear denim everything. A year later I am working for the same company I left but now I can wear jeans because i work from home. I WIN Of course the part bout me quitting like that didnt happen that way but it sounded better

Don't ask Naked & Famous what a chino is, they seem to be confused between the fabric and the style!

Don't ask Naked & Famous what a chino is, they seem to be confused between the fabric and the style! Definitely! I wish they would use the fabric they have for their chinos with an actual chino design.

Roger That. It's a tad big (as I wanted) so it went for a hot soak and a cool dryer run. A ton of indigo bleed!

Ordered Oct 20 (JeanMaker probably would have gotten it done sooner but I wanted different buttons). 12oz canvas (not selvedge) with Red interior stitching. I sent a pic of another shirt and asked to have it made similarly. Manny texted a few questions and pics as it was being made.

The Canvas most likely is from Mt Vernon mills. The pics are post Hot Soak and run through the dryer. This is going to be a beater and I want to be able to Machine wash and dry.
