Honestly, I'm far more concerned about the details of the pants (Fabric, cut, thread color and hardware) than I am about the patch and logo.
Once you ladies figure out which champagne best goes with the table arrangements, or if the bridesmaids should wear pink or coral, I'll decide if I'm in on a pair.

Branding is kind of a biggy...agree w/ Old26 & Winterland re. context & font. Generally, dig designs where less is more, no clutter but mainly feel that whatever's decided (lettering, design etc) it will look hot!!! Gonna really dig owning a pair.

I feel both sides of it, truly... But, at this rate they will have to be the 2yr anniversary jeans, lol. As beautiful as democracy is, it's a terribly slow way to run things!

Here are a couple finished versions of the patch. The 1 of 25 will be stamped by hand and not part of the main stamp. Let us know any preference between the 2. Would mainly like opinions from those who are considering buying a pair.

Would mainly like opinions from those who are considering buying a pair. I like the second design slightly better. the SS part of the patch still reminds me of Chevrolet. Has anyone suggested this type of design for the ss part?

I could always knock out a mockup for the patch, though too many cooks spoil the broth 'n' all that. Loads of monograms you can do based on 'SS' or even 'S&S'.
When were you thinking of taking payments for these? I'd be interested but at the same time I can't (shouldn't?) really break my 90 day send thing. Especially as it's not even been a week yet.

It's a lot cleaner and less cluttered in my opinion.

Hi All Sorry it has taken a bit to get this dealt with but we did not want to rush into anything. As some have mentioned having input from everyone committee style can be good but also bad as we all have different tastes. If we just made the decisions we would have had it done by now. We need to make a decision on this now as we have the Japanese fabrics secured in 17oz black and 20oz indigo selvedge. Price will be $100 give or take a few dollars for Ciano's USA hand made quality jeans. I don't think these fabrics and this quality can be beat at this price. They are our special jeans also. I think all of our members have nothing but great things to say about the quality of their work. My 18oz duck jeans stand out in the quality every time I put them on. The little options they include at no extra cost really make a difference. The leather patch is only a patch and I believe most are happy with one of the latest versions. If the majority are happy lets just move forward. I am getting a swatch of the black fabric sent to me. Will update when I get it. I have the indigo and here is a picture. Also a picture of the nice and thick vegetable tanned leather being used for the patch. Note patch design will be ours. I thought I had already posted a pic here before but couldn't find it The fabric seems inky and soft but not as soft as Iron Heart flagship 21oz or Gustin 18oz. It does have some stiffness to it and I like that. I sold my 18oz Gustins as they were too soft for me. I have 2 pair of Iron Hearts. 777 19oz and IHsexi-07 18oz and this fabric feels and looks very similar. I am not saying this fabric is as good as, just like, Iron Heart etc as they have their own fabrics made for them. Just trying to describe with some comparisons. I like some stiffness as it seems to make for easier and more contrast fades, combs etc. If anyone has specific questions I can try to answer as well as I can. I am figuring out with Ciano what the ordering/paying process will be. Will update soon. Stop spending your money and save it for for this! Well worth $100 Thanks your Mods.

Apart from the patch, is there anything that's going to set these aside from Ciano's usual fantastic work? Dead stock fabric for the pocket bags? Vintage buttons?
I assume every pair will be indenticle apart from size, fit and fabric?

I assume every pair will be indenticle apart from size, fit and fabric? They have never had these fabrics before. No other details different that I know of. It is a good question but I would think anything else would add to the cost and we like this price point. We are also getting a great deal on the price because we are special. I will ask and get a detailed description of all of the options.

We are glad we are getting close to this being a reality. They are Black/Black I will get an exact description of what all is included as far as options etc soon. I am not sure if we will be able to pick the thread color at this price.

I am excited to see the Japanese 17oz black selvedge sample. I've recently been looking to add some black selvedge to my wardrobe.
Also have we discussed the cut or fit of the jeans? I am just wondering if we get to choose between Ciano's 901 slim fit or 905 regular fit?

I'm liking the thought of a black/black with grey, or possibly olive stitching.

Sorry guys, I just can't do black. I've tryed but I just don't like the look on me. I'd stay in for the indigo but maybe someone else can pick up my slack on the Black.

I'm liking the thought of a black/black with grey, or possibly olive stitching. black is missing from my closet, but, like DigDug, I can't do black. I don't need another Indigo, but I'm in on the 20 oz Indigo, and out on the black.
