Sorry guys, I just can't do black. I've tryed but I just don't like the look on me. I'd stay in for the indigo but maybe someone else can pick up my slack on the Black. I read it as the option of either. Is that the case or was I wrong? That would be cool.

I'm in for the 20oz Indigo/contrast stitching/5 pocket/901 If it's tonal stitching then I'm undecided, I'd rather the chino cut (of course I understand this is a group buy so options are limited)

I have confirmed some more details. They will be. 1.) Soft 2.) Buttery 3.) Tough Just kidding took this from jeffrx post. In all seriousness we have tried to incorporate as many suggestions from everyone as we could. 1. There are only 2 fabrics/colors. 17oz Black/Black 20oz Indigo The indigo fabric is limited to 20 pairs. That is all the fabric there is. So it will be first come first serve! There are 2 1 22 members in on the poll and I am sure some are for black but I am sure we will have others joining in as we get closer to launch Members can buy 1 black and 1 indigo if they wanted. As long as they have enough material you could by more than 1 black pair. If it gets to the point of running out on fabrics we would have to deal with that then. Would be a good problem to have. 2. Custom Selvedge Style vegetable tanned leather patch sewed to allow belt pass through. Each individually number 1 of 25 etc. 3. There will be 4 different fit options. www.cianofarmer.com/fitguide.html 905, 901 and a new 1947 fit. Details to come on the 1947 fit Custom fit to your specs for added charge. 4. Special pocket bag fabric, to be seen. Will post pictures when it comes in. 5. Choice of button fly or zipper. 6. Ciano Farmer great assortment of other free options. Thread color, hidden or non hidden rivets, coin pocket selvedge line, half lined back pockets, built in hang thingys, not sure what they are called. To check them all out click through the order form as if you are buying and you will see them. This order form is for reference only. cfdco1.typeform.com/to/sVnfiE We will have a link to ours when they go on sale. Hopefully a week or so . 7. There are probably more things I can't remember. 8. 6-8 week time frame.

I read it as the option of either. Is that the case or was I wrong? I too read point #1 as if you have the option of either 17 oz black or 20 oz indigo. I can't do black jeans either. To be clear, I'm in for indigo only.

Hmmm...shame the black aren't 20oz...but 17oz is healthy/stealthy. Licorice legs w/ built in hang thingys et al, lol... Limited edition SS/CF denims. Yeah, very nice!!

Are the denims sanforized or not?

gusjin - I would think they are sanforized. At these weights, unsanforized would cost a lot more. I'd be very pleasantly surprised if they were unsanforized though.

Something is wrong with me because I am in on the indigo. But that 6-8 week schedule is what pulls me in most. I just got my 23 oz pair and I was tempted to order but the wait times made me hold off.

I'm definitely in for the indigo regardless of the answer to this question, but, is it guaranteed to be made within 6 - 8 weeks? Asking, because I'm seeing people talk about a 4 - 6 month time frame for orders through CF. Is he going to leapfrog this over current orders? Again, in regardless.

Progress happening. Another update of patch. The brass stamp has been ordered. The 17oz and 20oz will be stamped separately by hand, otherwise we would have had to pay for 2 stamps. The 1 of 20 etc. will be hand stamped of course also. The 1 of 20 numbers will be smaller than in the mock up. Waiting for the black 17oz to come in. I am just repeating what Ciano has told me for the timeline. Once we are ready to have orders placed we will confirm time frame in case anything had changed.

Is this still on track? Looks like I missed something or other.. Yes. It has been a slow process but we wanted to have the fabrics be special and that has involved some wait time getting samples from Japan. Update! Here are pics of the Japan black/black. Weight 17oz after wash. We would have liked to have gotten 20oz or so but it didn't work out but.. if you want to order the 23oz Japan black that can be had for an addition charge. Will update soon with exact prices and date Ciano will have them available to order on website. Thanks for being patient. Tried to get a pic showing the black weft.

Is this suphur dyed? Will it fade to a grey/white?
Wish I knew sizing for Ciano (standard) now...
Anyone have a Ciano pair in a TRUE waist 32" I can try on in the 901 slim..? Looks like I am a size 30 901 now

Looks like I am a size 30 901 now I don't think they are sulfur dyed and will stay black. Which is actually my preference as they keep a more dressy look. Have enough faders.

A person can read their threads though and see they have had great reviews from members including me. The turnaround times from Ciano will be as mentioned earlier in the thread. Will be final details when they are ready to order.
