I must have gotten ones from after the button hole problem. No issues after a half dozen wears. Time will tell.

Still debating fixing mine myself, but may just send them back, since I need a few jeans hemmed and AB and Railcar are little girls about heavier denim.

Timings good. These don't breath well. For sure a cool weather fabric. Mine will sit for few months.

I haven't even been through the process of trying to stretch the button holes or anything. I put them on the other day, laughed because it was forecast to be something like 100 degrees, and then changed into something else. I don't see myself in anything over 16oz until it cools the hell down.

When this anniversary thing started I signed up for a pair of the black jeans. I was just wondering if a replacement for the black defective anniversary denim was found yet? And how many of you guys decided to get the black denim like me instead of indigo?

And how many of you guys decided to get the black denim like me instead of indigo? I received my black pair and the fit is perfect. Very happy. This is one well-made pair of jeans. I have enough pairs of indigo denim and needed a nice fitting black selvedge. I've been put some LP conditioner on the leather patch. The natural leather is pretty bright in contrast to the black but will tone down and look great with some time. Thanks cianofarmer. Great work.

Moving this topic over here since the Anniversary discussion should probably existing here. I'd be game for a t-shirt, or perhaps some "unique" workshirt. Another idea that crossed my mind after reading over the weekend was if Manny crafted a Type 2.5 jacket - some sort of crossover between a Type 2 and Type 3. Best of both worlds?

I'd be down for a Western Shirt, provided it has contrast stitching and a top button.

Best of both worlds? a type 3 would be cool imo. perhaps a tan duck canvas with a dark brown corduroy collar. my only caveat would be that the jacket not be short in the waist. this is the one thing I really hate about my TS long haul trucker is that it's so freakin' short in the waist and I just can't get used to it.

I would be down for something interesting just not too western or I gotta ask my pops to borrow some cowboy boots.
I kinda want something waxed if we end up deciding on a jacket or vest (sons of anarchy style lol) route. Or if we go workshirt something other than blue.

I hate cowboy wear, but Westerns are just an easy way to find a slim fit. Workshirts tend to be too square. This is a good example of a non hillbilly Western. topodesigns.com/collections/sale-collection/products/western-shirt-gingham

Check out the detail shots of the red one. The placket does some serious Crazy Ivans. Oddly it's flipped 45° in the real world shots.

I'd back a non-indigo selvedge workshirt. Something unusual and heavy.

bentin I bought a button-down similar to it cause I wanted to try it out, everyone hates it cause like matt said, hurts the eyes...unless I want to annoy people haha. Hmm as long as its not ectomorph slim I'm interested. I wouldn't mind an indigo tee since its simple and didn't teachers say KISS.

the westerns I own look nothing like cowboy westerns. Only look like lumberjack westerns.

Hunt down some fabrics, vote on them, and have Manny make shirts.
Some sweet jacquard anyone?

I noticed that Ciano is getting in some 13oz brown selvedge herringbone fabric, which looks like it would make a great work shirt, or Western.
