Got mine in 11 of 17, I changed and got confirmed a size up but they came in at 31s, too small. Construction is great, really wish they fit. The legs are fine but the rise/waist isn't going to fly. Just e-mailed Ciano, once I lock my size down this company will be my go to.

10 of 17 has landed in my mail box. I ordered a 31x34, they are marked as a 31x35,and measured 34x34 pre soak. Post soak measurements are 33x33. my advice is to order 1 inch longer inseam than you need. The stitching around the button hole for the main or large fly button has come undone, not a big deal, I'll probably try to fix it myself. Other than that, they're perfect. Once I got that bottom most fly button done,I'm afraid to unbutton it, for fear i wont ever get it done again lol. I got a notice when they printed the shipping label, then nothing till they showed up. These jeans are awesome! It amazes me how much of a difference 4oz can make between a 12, 16, and 20 oz.

I'm hoping this is the case for me too. I got a shipping notice on June 23 and the link for tracking still says "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS" with no apparent movement. Oh well. I thought they were fixing the button hole stitching issue?

Just got them in, but the waist is like two inches under spec. I think I'll have to send them back, which is a bummer, cuz they're pretty cool. I'll email ciano later, but just in case anyone is interested, there may be a true 34" waist available soon. Hrmph.

I ordered a tag size 33, which according to the fit guide on ciano's website, should be a true 36" waist. 20oz denim isn't too forgiving when the waist is 2 inches too small.

That might be pushing it, but I ordered mine an inch under my waist and they stretched out in the first two wears to be comfortable.

Got mine, beautiful construction, really nice work.
What I learned is I am not worthy of 20oz. I don't think I can do it.
These came in about 1" under spec in the waist and CF graciously offered to fix them but even at that this is just a bit too thick for this newbie. My only other heavy pair are 16oz and I think that may be the line of demarcation for me.
If anyone is interested in the blue 20oz PM me an offer and spare CF additional work.

I guess I should officially make my anniversary jean available to see if we can save Ciano the hassle. As I said, true 34 waist. Inseam is 36.5" Front and back rise, knee and cuff opening are pretty much spot on with Ciano's fit chart for label size 33. Thigh seems smaller than posted specs by maybe an 0.5 to 1", but I'm not really sure where the thigh is measured. I'm at work now and don't have them on me, but I can provide more specific measurements at request. Copper stitching, taped seams, hidden back pocket rivets, no paid for extras. I tried them on, measured them, and put them back in the box. I paid $117.20, which included shipping. I'll sell for that price and pay for the shipping to CONUS.
I'd say PM me, but I haven't done that before. I assume a notification will pop up on my messages tab?

If I don't hear from anyone by July 5, I'll send 'em back. I'll be looking to get a refund rather than credit. Does that seem reasonable?

Got a call back from Ciano and he asked me to hold on to the jeans for now. He was out of town, but when he got back he was going to see if he had enough material to make another pair. He also asked me not to sell the pair I have. So there you have it. They are off the market.

Nate, in a similar (I foolishly ordered down a size. Dumb!) situation. Sounds like Ciano might be able to swap some sizes around.

Got my 20oz indigos yesterday in Sydney, #14 of 17. Arrived 1" under spec in the waist & 1" short. Fortunately I had left room for soaking so they actually fit quite well on me. Construction & fabric is great, very tough feeling fabric with nice green line selvedge ID. These are now my heaviest pair. Thanks to @winterland for arranging this jean. i.imgur.com/HZrQx8z.jpgi.imgur.com/ufTGWvu.jpg

Wore them today (because winter here), the top buttonhole stitching came off like others but otherwise very happy.

I got mine a couple weeks ago. Overall I really like them. The tailored finishing and seam binding make them unique. Fabric is heavy but livable and should break-in nicely. Mine came in a little under spec, not too much. But... I ordered a zip fly. In the package was a note that they didn't catch it in time and made them with buttons and the fix would be noticeable. After some thought I decided to keep them as is. I didn't want a noticeable alteration and doubted they had enough material to make new pair. With the long wait time and botched order I'm not likely to be a repeat customer.

Wait, you asked for a zipper? Meow. But seriously, given the hell that Houston's been through recently, the fact that Ciano did get all of these out is pretty impressive.

My 22oz Oni are fine. However my 20oz Ciano, each button hole has failed, so maybe you were onto something.
Just don't like zippers on jeans, like I wouldn't want button fly on dress pants.
