how do you feel about the options 2 many? what would you loss. Hi Roman, Thanks for taking the time to share with the community. This I think we all really appreciate. Right now the major issues I see are this "cuff" and "cuff roll" options. I see what you tried to do here but it's really confusing. I think we're all used to a certain length of inseam and then go from there to either cuff or not and roll as we wish. Sometimes with the same pair of jeans I will cuff one roll, two rolls, stack, mainly depending on what kind of shoes I'm wearing, but sometimes because I'm just looking for a different style. So I just need a inseam length option.

I would measure like this: And double it?

Yes, or you have to give it to a pygme.
Btw I dont really know what is going on with my clothes, tried to measure today to know what I should order but 4 jeans came in with different measures but they all fit me. All my shirts have alot shorter sleeves then the Lawless-shirts and msot of them are shorter in length aswell. I think I need a time-out and then go remeasure another day.

I see what you're shooting for- but it only resulted in me thinking: "so are the cuffs going to be sewn?" and "are the cuff rolls going to add overall inseam length?" Only having an inseam length option gives me more confidence when I click "add to cart"!

I would measure like this: And double it? I would ask Roman, or e-mail Lawless before measuring that way....I know that's how we all learned from Gustin...But when I explained this to Laura at Lawless...She recommended that I change to my actual waist size...measure like The video says ....around your waist...This is a direct quote from an e-mail....."Thank you for that information it is extremely helpful! That being said, I’m going to go ahead and modify your paperwork to reflect your true 33” waist. Our team here is extremely talented and takes the time to make adjustments during the cutting process to accommodate the stretch and give depending on which fabric our customers choose." I had gone with a 31" waist like I do with Gustin, to allow for stretch. I guess the sew-ers at Lawless already take that into consideration, Which is nice to know

Very good to know. And its not only G that measures that way.... THis means its even more important to know where exactly the low.medium and high rise will sit (and measure on oneself)

Hi Griffin....I'm not 100% sure on this, but, I think the rises (low, med, high) are for the womens jeans.

I can't find a forum that covers it and the website seems to provide less information depending on when you look at it, but what have people received from lawless? Has the kickstarter delivered? What's the fit like? What's the workmanship like? I wanna jump in to this, but I'd like to see that some of the commitments have already been met, and what the consensus is.
I haven't been following this thread, so if this stuff has been addressed, feel free to tell me to go look (or where to look) and I'll go do the legwork.

We need all this cleared up with lingo that normally goes along with denim & a few more areas that clearly need some explaining. Having options is the niche for Lawless but some are not needed. We need to mention everything that needs adjusting & then present all the absolute things that need to be fixed to avoid some big potential issues when people start getting their jeans & notice they have a 5 inch hem or a mid rise jean with a measurement of 14

I could be wrong too lol...The reason I think this way is because of the sizing video here link it's update 46. At the part where they show how to measure ladies waists ...it uses the low, medium, or high rise. Could be wrong though, guess it's one of those things (like the cuff and how many times) that need to be clarified.

When you order jeans, does the order go through without the rise being specified? Or do you have to pick a rise preference?

When you order jeans, does the order go through without the rise being specified? Or do you have to pick a rise preference? I think the rise is pre set to the size you chose but at the same time can be adjusted to whatever you want it to be like I did via email. I received a confirm of my request shortly after. Just put it in the order notes & follow it up with an email with the order# you will receive via email

Just ordered: 14oz Japan Tan/Tan Jeans 30x34 Button Fly Copper Hardware Natural Canvas Pocket Liners Classic Front and Back Pockets Lawless Leather Patch Golden Wheat Thread Color Single Chainstitch Hem 1" Cuff Rolled Once
Unless these come in with something other than a neutral / natural color, I'll probably dye these using the SteveKAS method.

I've been thinking of ordering a pair of those too. Yet, I'm worried they'll just end up looking... well, like white jeans once I put them on. Sure, the swatch looks sexy. But that's a whole lot of "almost white" denim to be wearing when you actually put a pair on.

I'd be happy with a light chino look, but if they're too raw looking, I'm doing as Wils said and dyeing them like Steve did.

The tan/tan (from the swatch) looks quite a bit different than the Cone Natural (the denim in the kakishibu dying experiment). The Cone is an off-white, so not quite painter jeans, but still very light in color. Tan should look like a light "khaki" more than a white.

From the looks of the KS comments page LD has been sending out orders but also are still working out getting people confirm emails on their KS orders. They have almost 500 orders to be processed & then made which seams like a tall mountain to climb. The crazy thing is there are people on KS who are mad because they haven't received their confirm email yet claiming its October even though the campaign states orders will start going out in November. I would think the confirm emails are going out as they get to the jean to avoid confusion that a jean was made already or in the works.
At this point I will totally understand & expect if my online order gets put on the back burner so that they can concentrate on KS . That is so important for the future of Lawless & for us who want/need Lawless to succeed for our own selfish reasons which is a place to buy good stuff for under $100

Time to start distracting myself from looking too frequently at the doorstep!
