Can anyone comment on whether Gustin and Taylor Stitch are similar fits in XL size? I haven't purchased any G shirts yet but I've seen a few I might be interested in. The TS fits great.

for me, the TS XL is larger than G's XL. G to me is more like a L in many other brands. i know that probably doesn't help but maybe if enough folks chime in, you can get a feel for what the fit is like in comparison.

I don't know about the larger sizes, but my experience has been TS 38 < Gustin Classic Medium < TS 40.

I've run a TS 42 and a Gustin XL classic. I'm trying a Gustin XXL Slim (to reduce the Scoops of Wonder but keep the chest size), so we'll see.

For me the Gustin XL Classic in a WorkShirt = a TS 44 in similar WorkShirt styling and Material (Railroad stripe, Ticking Stripe)

I wear G Large classics and TS 42s. They are very similar although the Gs are a bit tighter around the chest. TS just fits me way better if a bit baggier. I have a single G slim in large which are too snug around the chest for me. It's a flannel so I wear it unbuttoned. I'd go one size up if you want slim.

I wear a gustin L slim and TS 42. The 42 is similar in length but definitely bigger in the chest

42 in TS and XL classic in Gustin. Gustin length in the torso really is what gets me. And the fact the larges shrunk on me.

Maybe I should try a 40 in TS. Everyone here steered me away from it initially when I said I wear a Large slim in G. I'm worried it will be too short though.

I'm 5'9 but my legs are a 28" inseam. Basically I have no legs and they are large. So most my length is my torso. Gustin large were belly shirts.

You guys need to post your height/weight so those of us who don't own any Gustin or TS shirts have an idea what size to consider

Need chest/shoulder and neck/sleeve size from best fitting button up shirts.

Kinda? Haha. It's weird because we wear the same size in some brands but are pretty much the opposite size human. (I'm 6'2, 175-180) On topic: I'm very happy with the fit of Taylor Stitch 42. In G I have a couple of regular large and don't really like the fit at all, but its serviceable. I tried XL Slim in a Gustin workshirt and it was too big.

You're about my size. Did you wash the G WS? My Slim XL Wabisabi was amusingly large and Kim Jong Un shaped until it got a warm wash, now it fits almost perfectly for a WS, which is still large for a regular shirt.

Nah, I chickened out and sold it to somebody on here. I figured at the time that with all those cool workshirts I was gonna get from Lawless that I wouldn't miss it much. But I'll keep that in mind if I see another one that strikes my fancy.

I'm 6'2" and nearing 200 lbs I would think you are a 42/44 in TS. Just eyeballing it.
