I'm 6'2" and nearing 200 lbs I would think you are a 42/44 in TS. Just eyeballing it. Unless it's a ripped 200, I would say at least 44. At 25 pounds less and non-excessive fattiness, I'm a 42, and that's pretty much exactly right.

So a 44 would probably be about right.

I'm 6'2" and 195 (a recent addition) and have a 42 in the mail and another funded. Hoping it works, but won't be surprised if 44 would work better. I plan to lose the gut soon though and be back to 175-180, whixh should make the 42 fine.

I'll say that my two TS shirts are both 42 and they fit pretty well. They are a little bigger in the chest than my G slim larges but not grossly so. A 44 would definitely be too big in the chest. I am slim(ish) but definitely not ripped.

I'm 6'2" and nearing 200 lbs I'm 6'2", 205#. 20.75" shoulder. 45" chest. 36.75" sleeve. 36" waist. I'm a solid 44 in TS. The moss Mechanic's is the only one of 4 to sew up small for me. It is now in david2403 closet. For comparison, the best fit for me in Gustin is XXL slim.

I've found the Gustin Classic Large to be smaller than the Taylor Stitch 42, but the TS 42 is slightly smaller than a Gustin Slim XL (equivalent to a Classic L with a better profile, imo), are you sure your Gustin are Slim cut? Though the lengths are a bit different, I find the TS 42 to be very similar to the Gustin Tall L. I don't think I could fit into a Gustin Slim L.

I'm 216 but wear a 42 in TS. XL in Gustin since they shrunk on me. Gustin large has fit smaller for me than TS 42.
Maybe I carry most of my weight in my legs. But 215-220 and I wear a TS 42

I'm 172 lbs, 42" actual chest, 32.5" actual waist.
I'm a 42 in TS, Slim XL in Gustin button downs, L in Gustin T's, XL in most Iron Hearts but XXL in a few (my black flannel I posted the other day is an XXL).

You would be an XXL in some of the shirts too you probably just haven't combed over ever size chart for every single IH shirt 1,000 times like I have..lol. And the black flannel I have I actually should have gotten an XL but I sized wrong and got the XXL. I gave it a hot machine wash and dry though and got a bit of shrink out of it.

I wear a classic L or slim xl in gustin. the last time I got a ts shirt, it was in L-42, and it didnt fit me well at all.
Everything was too small.
should I opt for the XL-44 or give the large another chance?
the measurements for the L-42 seem perfect but last time was bad.

quick - the 42 seemed perfect for me to given the measurements but i have to go with 44 which sometimes is a little baggy on me and other times is a little tight (ie. mechanic's shirt).

So strange how the sizing varies so much for all of us. I easily wear a Classic L in Gustin, and could go a Slim L probably, and TS 42s are often loose-ish. I, like brentkuz, must have all of my weight in my legs lol.

Each shirt TS puts out can also have a different size chart.
