wondering what other denim i can post to get even more damns thrown my way. you should post your Fullcounts over in the Fullcount thread, bring that thread back to life. yep - was gonna spend some time this weekend adding photos to some of the quieter threads and highlight some construction/detail differences. btw...i ordered a pair of IH. was bummed that the SE collab for the 301S grey was sold out in my size but ended up with the regular 301S. hopefully the fit works. |

I love wearing both authentic fits as well as modern slim fits. Wanna try out the 301s too soon, possibly the SBG one 8301S they fade nice. Have a look at the joe mccoy 991 or 991xh, nice slim fit. Will post a pic of mine when I have a minute |

I want a pair of shell dress boots. Since I'm stuck on a Made in USA mindset, that leaves me precious few options. I've tried on AE Dalton's and the last doesn't work for my foot (too narrow in the toe box relative to the heel). Since AE won't make me a pair of First Avenue's in shell, I guess I need to figure out if any Alden lasts work for me.

Because of how the Dalton last is shaped, when the toe box fits me, my heel has waaaaaaaaaaay too much room and slips all over the place. I prefer AE because I normally wear a narrow width (my bannock is 9.5 B) and it's easier to find narrow AE's, but the Dalton is a funky last for my foot. I've only tried on one pair of Alden's, so I probably need to give them more of a chance with different lasts. |
