I'm waiting on a t-shirt three pack (I think from the first campaign) and the Heavy Americans, which'll be my second pair.
Have any of the t-shirts shipped yet?

I also backed the first 3-pack I backed a 3 pack as well. Stoked on getting them. In other news, still no Japan One Seven ship.

What frustrates me is the false hope. They say things will ship on a certain date and they don't. I would much rather they say "We are running X weeks late. Please be patient." Japan 17 and Italy IxI were supposed to ship the week of 2nd and still no sign of them.

Backed the #167 Italy BlackxBlack on 11/26/14, which I believe was fully funded on 11/28/14. My first and only campaign thus far. Was initially listed as shipping in January. Now, the latest update was on 1/28 stating: "1/28: Jeans now in finishing. We will begin shipping out orders on 2/2. They will be shipped in the order they were backed."
It'll be three full months or more between getting funded and actually receiving the product. Is this normal? I want to get in on more, but want to see the fit of these before I back another. In all honesty, I probably wouldn't have backed it had I known it would take 90 days or more...
I hope the fit!!!
Thanks for your input.

I pressed them for more info, but haven't heard back yet. Funny thing is, I backed a double wrap wristband last night and it shipped this morning even though the eta was March.

Funny thing is, I backed a double wrap wristband last night and it shipped this morning even though the eta was March. A wristband doesn't have quite the same complex process of manufacture as a pair of jeans. If you ordered a wristband from me I could probably send you something by tomorrow morning.

Regarding the black x black, you'll want to refer to your estimated delivery time, which is more difficult since this information is no longer retained on the order page. I would say that your best estimate on jeans is likely about 6 weeks after they closed sizing options on your order (oxfords tend to be about 4). Chinos or a workshirt are running about 8-12 after sizing options lock. This has been my experience, but sometimes it goes a lot faster, my Japan Union blue shipped 7 weeks after funding.

Waiting on Japan One Seven. Status = "Production status: 1/28: Jeans now in finishing. We will begin shipping out orders on 2/2. They will be shipped in the order they were backed."
...because shipping out orders takes two weeks...at least

Also, I know that a wristband I'd nowhere near as complex. Point being, it funded last night around 11 pm and shipped around 11am today. I was just scoffing at the quick turn around weeks ahead of the estimated ship date.

It's starting to look like the batch of denim back in December that was "complete" for 2 weeks before an "unexpected delay" pushed them back a whole month.

Two weeks from now it will be March. I don't think there's any reason to believe you won't get them, obly thing that's gonna get you now is if they get QC'd. Gustin really needs to stop saying things are shipping "this week" when the sew-shop tells them "we'll have them to you this week", which is the only reason I can think of that they would send these updates when they don't have the product in-hand. I have two orders from them that shouldn't have shown up before the chinos but here we are (Union Blue and Wine Oxford). Speaking of, Wine Oxford is here, maybe this will give you a good idea of the color, it's kind of a hard one to capture, at a distance it looks pink-ish, or sort of like the color of a salmon, as opposed to salmon colored. Much softer than the Gustin Grey Oxford I have.

This happened to someone with a pair of chinos (once that was posted to the board), the lucky bastard.

Looks like it's one of those that really changes depending on the light. Love the subtlety.

I like the color, we'll see how it works with, well, anything else I have. Didn't seem to pair too well with the American Sixteeners, but I'm gonna guess it'll work with some greys or maybe those caramel chinos if they ever get jammed in a bag and shipped.

I have the Italy Blackxblacks and Italy Skys due end March, so asked yet again if they could combine postage to save me customs fees.
I got the same response I first did over a year ago, as in "no, but we're looking into it".
It seems they just get rammed into a bag and thrown into the post office as soon as they're made, and G never actually get involved. It kind of makes you wonder what exactly they do, except from being front men for nice fabrics.
Nice business model for them though, as they must be doing well out of it, and are probably regaining customers from other similar operations due to their lesser delays.
