I also got that on my Super Heavy Slubs. Glad to see they're only a little bit late. Thought they'd be several weeks late like my Heavy Americans. I also got this on Italy Pink IDs (supposed to ship in February) 1/29: Jeans close to completion. We will begin shipping in the order they were backed starting on 2/6. Trying to get them out a bit earlier. Looks like they've caught up from the Christmas snag! Now if they could only get the chinos shipped out. |

I noticed the same update for my Pima Fires. At this point, with the stories of the wrong denim, the pushed back delivery dates, and my general frustration with Gustin, I was hoping that my pair had been pulled for QC and I'd get a refund. At which point, I'd spend it on the stock store and be free of Gustin going forward. I just say that because my stock store purchases generally fit better than the funded items. Even when they're the same size.

They stopped releasing chinos for a short break maybe to re-do the chambray? Maybe some issues there.

Nope, last update on my Super Heavy Slub's:
Production status: 1/28: Jeans now in finishing. We will begin shipping out orders on 2/2. They will be shipped in the order they were backed.
But nothing yet...

I backed several items; I backed one pair, waited a month and then backed several more. Thats gave me a buffer between the delivery time of the first to still change the size on the others. Fortunately, I didn't need to. |

I just got a shipment of HAs about a week and a half ago, funded late October. I guess they could still be behind. Interesting considering they just put up another campaign for it. |

Sorry to feed the negativity, but At this point my concern is this: they have been saying for 3-6 weeks that the chinos are complete, and they are starting shipping. If at any point that has been true, why are they not prioritizing those shipments? it creates the image that they have them all sitting there on a counter but they'd rather ship December backed items early than ship the items that are already late. Logic dictates that they don't actually have the chinos, but why can't they be forthright about it?
questions regarding this and quality concerns go unanswered on style forum while tshirt sizing questions get answered immediately by the joshgustin account, and it's starting to make people angry. As of the 15th it'll be 16 weeks on the chinos (since funding, not backing), right now it will be a surprise if they make it by week 16 since Gustin seems to be guessing at delivery dates, too.

Yes, Gustin is absolutely right. It takes a lot of intricate care and quality workmanship to misalign plackets, pockets and yokes.
