Anyone else get shot down on the Slate Blue Twill? Fabric or sewing error, purchase price credited. Wow another shirting error. Cut the selvage edge off one shirt. Now this. I had the same issue with the orange flannel a while back they offered $20 extra store credit or refund or a stock store shirt. More of the same sucks to see it happen again. |

Just backed the Italy blackxblacks. I already have the Japan ones, but chopped the leg so I can wear them to work, and I want to be able to cuff a pair now.
It looks like the wording on the Italy's is almost a complete copy from the Japans, but the Italy's are $12 cheaper, which makes a nice change for G. The weight's almost identical, so I'll be happy if they're as good as the Japan's.

Also just received an update on Super Heavy Slub, Italy IxI and Japan one Seven - All are being sewn. Expected to be done by 1/29. Seems like they are catching up well on Jan production.

Also just received an update on Super Heavy Slub, Italy IxI and Japan one Seven - All are being sewn. Expected to be done by 1/29. Seems like they are catching up well on Jan production. Don't hold your breath on the projections. Doesn't seem to matter when they're cut or sewn, can't figure out how long it'll take anymore. I've backed my Camel Hbone Chinos without caring when they come in, and figure that's the way to go for now. |

I'm having a race between Gustin and LD orders. Snail fight! My navy chinos were supposed to ship this week, but the latest update says this week or next week. I'm going to take that as next week the way things are going. Somehow my black friday Cone Blacks have caught up and are supposed to ship this week even though they backed something like 4-6 weeks later. Oh well, new pants will be had either way. |

Didn't ship two-day priority, but rather first class, doesn't matter I guess, USPS got it here in a couple days anyway. Really digging the Slate Blue Twill, minor blemish in the seam where the Made In USA tag was attached, and I still wish I'd been able to get my hands on the slim cut. Either way, this one seems to have come in right, and it's a great color (I also like the white/grey weft on this one, neat look for a shirt fabric).
Fingers crossed the chinos ship this upcoming week and the brown x black workshirt the week after that, but I'm still guessing that will all push back another week based on first run (and others reports of subsequent runs) of the chinos and first and second runs of the workshirts.

I've been lucky with G's deliveries. The maximum delay I've experienced so far is 2 weeks - something I can live with.

Heavy Caramel chino in sewing, ship by end of month.
Italy BlackxBlack, same as chino.
Looking forward to the latter two the most.

Hopefully the caramel herringbone chinos turn out awesome. People have had solid reviews of the chinos minus the chambray lining ripping.

sent a message last week to ask for a realistic status on the brown duck and army green duck chinos. ren responded today saying that:
"According to our production manager the Brown Ducks will start ship out in the next week and the Army Green Ducks will not ship out until the beginning of February."
i'm not sure if 'in the next week' means this week...or next week.
he basically said the same thing as before, that the holidays snuck up on them and the sew shop and now they're trying to catch up.
