Mine are 13 across after some wears so maybe you are right. I dont think the 36 will fit anywhere else tho.

If you can't stretch PBJ denim, your big thighs might be more chicken and gravy than squats.

The problem isn't stretch..... The problem is shrink after a wash.

Isn't the solution if you're worried about shrink is to wear them for a few weeks before soaking them, so that they stretch right back out when you do soak them?

Hoody received from Okayama Denim is pretty nice in XL. Is really slim especially in the arms with appears consistent throughout their lineup per what I've read. For $200, probs would rather have a 3sixteen heavy or an IH for the money, yet, they're all kind of special for different reasons.

What PBJ jean fit would be akin to a Gustin straight or IH-666 without the overly restrictive thighs? That G fit actually works really well for me for boots and sneakers. Thanks.

In my limited PBJ experience.... "Restrictive thighs" seems to be their shtick. I've never heard someone refer to their PBJ's as "relaxed fit", lol

Thanks. I'll check them out.
Edit: the X005 is pretty sweet for a slim straight. Appears to be perfect IH-666 with about an inch more in the thighs.

Nice scooter. This is exactly what I've needed to give PBJ a shot. Their thighs have always been too small for me. I'm not sure I need another beige weft denim though with my IH 21oz and Oni's that I have, but maybe they will make that cut in other fabrics? scooter where can I see a fit guide for the new cut???

I think, this denim is going to be a little different. The warp threads will be beige, then rope dyed indigo. The weft will be white. There is no denim like it. So, there is no way to know whether it will age the same as beige weft. It will be interesting to find out. I would agree with your thoughts, though. There would be no need for you to cop a pair, with 2 pairs of beige weft in hand. I'm sure they will probably use the new cut across a number of denims. Unfortunately, none have been released, yet. So, I have not seen any fit guides. From the looks of it, Okayama Denim will be in on the first run. I'll be keeping an eye out for the release.

So this definitely does make it a bit different then. Yeah I don't know of any denim like that either. Curious to see how that affects the fades.

I am very curious, too. I've already decided to nab a pair. You definitely have the luxury of waiting this denim out. I think this will be a fairly popular denim, and a number of runs are possible. In the meantime, you can put some wear on the pairs you've got, while waiting for results of those in on the first run. PBJ has got a number of unique denims. I'm sure they will use this cut for something you'll really dig.

If the hem is tighter then these could be a welcome cut, and <i might even go down a size. I think they look really effing good tbh, but I dont think fades will pop since there is no white. Weft wont come through unless you get holes almost. However - It could be a good looking pair but we just have to see if they age to "vintage" or "muted fade" or just will look plain dirty hehe.

I also think you can never have too many "brown thread-y"-pairs Is that scientifically proven? If not then you actually don't have too many haha and 1 more might just get the evidence we need.

Hope they experiment more with this concept

Can anyone help me out with sizing? If the 012's ever come back in stock at Denimio I want to be ready to pull the trigger.
My benchmark are my G slim Oky Standards. They are size 33 and came in exactly on spec. Right now about 8 months in and 1 soak they measure: 35" waist (loose but not falling odd) 10" rise 24" thigh
Based on this I feel like a 33" unwashed is probably the right size but would love some feedback.
