has anyone else noticed the workshop series has kind of dried up a bit? was that just a test that they went through or do they roll out things to it on an occasional vs. regular basis? In their reddit AMA they said the workshop was gonna be few and far between during the holidays, just to get things in peoples hands quicker. Guessing its gonna come back after the new year.

Jumped on the sale, why not...went with 18.5oz and the slub japan over the blue italian. Figured I'd take these two fro the price of the gustin greenline. Hoping the swatches are what I'm expecting.

Sorry late to this. Ickes said it, the return policy is pretty top notch, so even if 40 is too small, should be able to exchange. With that said, my nipples tend to add a size or two to my shirts. I'm really popular on public transportation.

I got a pair 4 or so months ago. Not as soft inside as the Gustins. I'd say quality and hardwear is equal to Gustin. Front Pocket opening is smaller (hard to get your keys out). I'd say the cut is similar to the Gustin slims. Welp that turned me off. I'm gonna give 3sixteens a run...or just stick with tellason, their fit seems to work for me. I may wait it out for the return of 3sixteen 12.5oz (gasp)

Quality aside, what annoyed me most with gustin was their "sample" fit guide they initially linked to was Taylor Stitches. If they came close to the quality/fit, gustin's shirts could have been worthwhile. They for sure pick good fabric.

Tellason were one of the first brands that got me interested in raw selvedge, though I've never pulled the trigger on anything. Their price point is admittedly and clearly more attractive than some of the other high end brands, but G's has been better/more attractive to me. I've handled some of their jeans in store but haven't tried on or anything. They look and feel solid. A good ol' pair of Cone Denim. If and when I venture away from my Gustins, Tellason may be the brand I got to, even though some of the Japanese brands have some interesting fabrics out. Can anyone tell me though, as a straight fit in G, would I go for the Ankara (Regular Straight) fit? I am scared of getting a slim liek the John Graham Mellor(soccer thighs and hockey butt), but the Ankara just looks so huge on the model. Any advice? I was in the same boat. I have biggish thighs, can't make the 33 straight Gustin's work on my thighs, but 34s get a bit billowy, and found tellason to be in the middle. I went with the straight-taper, to get a smaller leg, but bigger thighs. You are correct, there are more interesting fabrics out there, especially from Gustin. Hope that helps

Will do ickes, but can say, so far the 16.75 is great stuff. They've loosened/softened abit, and started to get rid of the initial indigo rub. I'm debating giving these a soak after a week or so, since they are pretty starchy.

went denim, and am looking forward to it. Expensive? sure, but in my experience the 10% off on release day and the fit/quality/made in use is worth it for me.

Democratic fit is their straight fit, its a bit bigger in the top block, so validate with the size guide which is accurate. Luckily they have a forgiving return policy on full priced items.

not the yosemite brentkuz. bugula, these sweatshirts are really nice. Lightweight compared to american giant, and a lot more styled with the buttons.

ickes - I got these tellason's today - let me know if you want certain pics up against some gustins. Went 16.5oz sheffield - straight tappered in 33. I'm kinda between a 33/34 with gustins - 34's end up being much more relaxed, 33 the top block is bursting. First impressions - The tellason's have some nice details (most mentioned above) the length/fit is spot on for me. The leg opening on the gustins does annoy me, so does the monster 34 inseam. these tellasons are a single cuff, which should bode well when I wash them. pocket bags are deep and solid - same size too. All in all - glad i got these over the heavy zimbs. Also came with a handwritten thankyou for tony, nice touch.

Stinky - TS I wear a 42. I wear a slim large jcrew, and went with large in gustin and its pretty snug. What is nice about TS, is you get free returns in the case the fit isn't there. TS has fit has been pretty much to speck for me.

Realized my initial post was a bit ambiguous: I have their flannel (red/white/blue on sale), and its solid. Hefty, and for me a great fit. I picked that off huckberry along with that north coast coat over the summer. All I can say about the coat is that its an awesome idea (a styled up softshell) but I haven't even put it to work yet. I moved so gotta dig out of a box soon, since the weather is turning. During their sale I loaded up on some yonder shorts which can take a beating.
Am considering those chambray's that are left on sale.
Its a solid brand, and in my minimal time, I've found the quality top. So tonyv good work.
