The 21oz is so good. In case I didn't mention that. And the 301s fit is awesome. Like the 666 to the knee, then a proper taper. Just dead-on. And, mountainman3520, check out Self Edge in SF in the Mission. Only place I know of in the city that carries IH. They also have shops in LA (but I heard it burnt down recently?) and NYC.

Those are pretty sick. I was just drooling over them today, too. They may have to be next on the hitlist. I just scored some IH-301s on ebay, and I love the 21oz denim so hard. Maybe they will satiate me for now...? My bank acct hopes so.

I just copped some IH-301s off ebay, and holy crap they feel amazing. Love the fit, love the denim. I think they instantly became my favorite jeans. Giving them a soak right now, because cooties, but I don't think I'll take them off once they dry. I mean, just perfect. They were worn probably 20-30 times, by the look and had a soak or two before getting to me. Can anyone who has both the 21 oz and the 25 oz comment on whether the 25 ever softens up to the degree that the 21oz does? I love my 666-XHS, but they just fell to second place.

I (and I'm sure others) wish they would have their workshirt shop make something (WS, or otherwise) with some of the kickass flannels they drop, without buttondown collars, every. Damn. Time.

Revised my order to 38 slim from 37 slim. Still considering going to 38 straight. I'm a little worried about the boys if it shrinks more than 1.5-2".

Man, this is tempting...Think I'll be in and try the 37 slims. I wish they'd lose the 6th belt loop on sizes over 36, incidentally.

Got this email from Rodeo Bros re: IHSH-129:
Thank you again for your purchase.
Regarding the IHSH-129, we actually have not decided yet when we will restock it. Rest assured that we will contact you if we do.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more information. We are looking forward to hearing from you again soon.
Regards, Katsuya Kuroda Rakuten Ichiba, RODEO BROS
...I really want that shirt. But I don't want to pay European tariffs for it.

gaseousclay, I cold soaked my J17s the other day and didn't notice much shrinkage in the 36 straight. Got out a fair bit of starch and indigo. Saw minimal shrinkage based on fit, but I didn't take measurements presoak--I'd guess they shrank maybe 1/2" in the waist, but stretched right back out. They were pretty damn crispy when they dried and the top button was a little rough (not IH rough, but not fun). Wore them yesterday and the whisker/combs/stack creases set really quickly. I think they're gonna be a really good pair after a little love.

Ha unnamed! Yeah, I'm not in love with the institutional beige walls in the place I rent. Angles are a bit funny b/c of the mirrors on the closet door I used for a couple of them. But if I were institutionalized, this shirt and 666-xhs aren't the worst protection against shivving/shenanigans that I can think of...

Thanks, brentkuz. I was almost certain I'd be swimming in it, but unless I drop 20+, it won't see hot water.

Also, it blows my mind that I can get something faster from Tokyo (via Rodeo Bros--who may have the best customer service ever. Even threw in a free towel, not to mention their multiple check-ins via email) than I can from Amazon.

Damn, Rodeo Bros was out of XXL in Grey, so I rolled the dice with a XXXL. Guess if it doesn't shrink, I'll use my eBay proceeds to buy brentkuz's XXL

I got a pair of those and a pair of Japan Superlights, as well as an unlabeled pair that was probably either the regular or American standards in grab bags over the summer. For me, the one benefit of the grab bag is just what you alluded to, gaseousclay--that they probably had an extra layer of QC by being returned or extra stock, and thus were all to spec. Unlike 2 pair of 36 slims I had to send back (IxPersimmon and Italy IxI). ETA: actually, looks like it was Japan IxB, which makes me sad again...

Those natural low tops are tempting--once I figure out what my shoe size is with them...
Maybe their new QC dept. can be in charge of copy editing/adjective rejecting.

I have a couple orders that also claim to be "in QC" or "in final QC." Is this a new status? I've never seen it before, if it isn't. Maybe this means that G is finally stepping up their QC game?

Ha, bugula! Hope you're not a 6'4" 240 lb fatass, because I might buy an XXL and XXXL if I can find them, just to make sure I get the right size! I found Rebirth's Rakuten site a couple weeks after their reservation period ended, which made me sad. That's the only place I've seen it online thus far.

Thanks, ickes! I'm still trying to hit the seemingly moving target that is Gustin sizing (just backed the rocket flannel in XXL slim today after deciding that XXL tall just looks stupid untucked on me. I should learn my lesson that something will drive me crazy--if not the misalignment, then the high armholes--so this will likely be my last try until a redesign comes). Guess I'll try XXL in IH and cross my fingers. If I'm lucky enough to find one!

129 in blue is amazing/instabuy for sure. Here's hoping they make more than 17 of them. Can anyone with experience in Gustin sizing give a comparison for IH western shirt sizing?
