I'll forgive you for that. I agree on the denim though. I just grabbed a pair of the expeditions from BOW and I would kill my mother for a utility work shirt in the expedition denim.

So I've gotten a couple of their shirts and have been in contact with one of the owners, Andrew. Their shirts are amazing. Hands down my favorite at the moment. I got the rail stripe and the japanese stripe. The fits on these are much better, shorter in the body than the vintage stripe they had a while back. The fabric, construction and details are great. I emailed them to tell them how much I liked the rail stripe and they gave me 50% my next purchase. They have a very nice looking denim jacket coming out next week that I'm thinking about using it on.

I'm really surprised no one has mentioned the utility work shirts yet. IMO they are the best thing from the drop this season. I may be alone in this but I dislike the jumpers and the westerns. I have never liked the rounded pockets on most of their stuff (though I made an exception for the brown chambray jumper) so I'm glad to see they have a couple options without. Now I just have to sell some stuff so I can grab one.

Agreed, when you get to 17-18 oz I'd size up one, especially if your normal size is already well fitted.

I missed out. How does everyone like them? Worth buying next time they come around?

Very tempting. I saw these in person the other day (blue owl is just around the corner) and they are amazing.

I don't have the selvedge chambray to compare but if you want a great grey chambray I would go for the #29 grey slub. It is heavy and looks awesome.

Gustin: "Keeping their finger on the pulse of their fans since...umm, well, okay, maybe once in a while. Maybe when Cody (Ickes) worked for them?" Heck of a motto. whoa whoa whoa...Ickes is Cody? for real?

So I've gotten some stuff I really love and have decided to get rid of the rest. I only have a few minutes to start this post so I'll add pictures and measurements in a little bit.
Gustin Pants
Zimbabwe Loomstate - 36 skinny. Never worn or rinsed. Actually measures pretty true to a 34" skinny with a 37" inseam. They fit now but if I rinse them, the waist will be too small. $155 shipped. Note - if you are really really interested but want to make sure they'll fit, I can do the first rinse and have them hemmed to your size around the corner at Blue Owl Workshop for $175 shipped.
Heavy Americans - 34 slim. Worn for a few months before I got my Zimbabwes, which are my go-to. Minor fades on back pocket. Still plenty of life in them. $55 shipped.
Navy American Chinos - 33 slim. Worn 5-6 times before I out grew them. The waist is actually about 34.5", otherwise true to size. $65 shipped.
Gustin Shirts
Japan Charcoal Oxford - classic medium. My first Gustin shirt and the reason I now order a slim large. Worn 5-6 times, still in like new condition. $50 shipped
Samurai Denim Workshirt
Boy is this an awesome shirt. Size XL with 22" chest. Just a bit too big for me. Great condition. Very cool details. $155 shipped.

Odd. I got a 3 pack that was a couple weeks before the first indigo T drop. Anyhoo, when y'all do get them, let me know if you don't want your large and you can get some cash instead of Gustin credit.

The title says it all. I'll take the normal or V-neck in size L.

Looking for decent new loomstate/unsanforized denim in a size 33-34 pre soak (31-32 post, that' assuming they shrink two sizes), preferably in a slim or tapered fit. Thanks! I have the Gustin Zimbabwe Loomstate with a 34 skinny if you are interested. They have a back story mentioned elsewhere on this forum. message me if you are interested and I'll explain and send you measurements.

as I said, some people may like the contrast stitching with the BxB trucker but I don't. just my own preference. fuggit, i'm returning it and getting the brown duffle instead. I agree. I think contrast stitching looks...bad. It took me buying a few shirts that look awesome online but have a different effect in person to realize it. It's actually the only reason I'm getting rid of an otherwise amazing samurai denim work shirt at the moment. All the white stitching just makes it look silly.

Tempting. The Gustin fabric is Loomstate, which I think is a little different than Oni's unsanforized and it is also heavier. I also usually wear Gustin's skinny fit, though with an unsanforized denim maybe I should go for a slim. I did find a "skinny fit" Oni on denimio... I'm definitely going to contact Gustin with the pics. I will probably end up returning them.
Thanks for the advice, everyone! I don't always agree with the anti-Gustin vibe going around recently - I have a lot of Gustin stuff I'm very happy with - but in this instance I'm pretty dissapointed.

At a glance, it looks like I'd be paying quite a bit more. Plus I'm not familiar with their fits.

I mean, it's odd, but I'd just turn them back right-way-out. You don't wear your pants inside-out? Am I the only one? I get what you're saying but when you cuff them - which I do - there are a bunch of strings hanging around, and some of them are on the outside of the pants too.

Most definitely the Zim 15. The green/gray hue makes the fades really interesting. I love the look of those original loomstates, by the way. The texture is actually more interesting than the zim loomies. I just got my Zim loomies in and they are both too small and have several sewing defects. It's ridiculous. I'll post pics in a bit.

So let's talk about how the DTB's were rolled out. The Tuesday email didn't mention them at all, they were stealth dropped a few hours after the normal time, and they still sold out in a matter of hours. Yet the Jades are still sitting at 6% as I write this almost 24 hours later… They just finished production of the latest run of DTBs. It's likely they discovered that they still had enough fabric left for a handful of pairs. Instead of running a traditional campaign, they did a ninja drop knowing that they had enough people on the notify list that they would go fast. From the looks of the percentage jumps as it was funding (around 3% per jean) it appears they had enough for about 30 pairs. The Jades are a normal campaign with a full "roll" of fabric and from the looks of it aren't as highly desired as some other fabrics. It'll most likely fund, but will need to use a better part of its 2-week campaign. Agreed. I think they did the same with the Thomas Mason flannels a few weeks back. They were dropped at like 4 pm and sold out in like 5 minutes - no joke.
