Is there a genuine reason why you want LVC? There are much better brands out there with both more interesting denims and reliable size charts.
If you're looking for something like the '55 501, I think TCB's 50s jean is based on that.

Ok good to know. The overdye seems to take better to the 18oz. They seem much inkier. It really notices in the weft. It's too bad for me because I really need the extra back rise that's in the 14oz.

Monday What jeans are those? They look like an OD 633, but what's the denim? I've been thinking about getting the 14oz. Great fit by the way.

Thankfully not too much for me to get excited about! That Kersey shirt is magnificent though, seriously unique looking fabric. Can't tell if it's really heavy or on the lighter side, can't tell if it's stiff or supple. Can tell that it will age beautifully and last for years.
I'd also love one of those split-steer jackets but that's never on the cards for me atm.
I'm surprised that Iron Heart have carried on with the many, many iterations of the M-65. Can anybody justify having more than two of those?

That 18oz CPO is magnificent.
I honestly don't understand why people are going all gushy over that pink one. It looks like it made of meat. It's like if Lady Gaga made a heavy flannel western shirt. Have a feeling there are going to be very few people who can carry that pink off.

I remember trying to buy a pair of Wabash pants off you but the deal fell through. I ended up getting a pair of black ih814, which I think worked out for the best. I'm sure you must have the 814. How are they looking? I only ever do a 40c wash and no dryer, and they aren't showing much right now but it's coming. I have a feeling when they do start showing some evo and start draping right they're going to be incredible.

What temperature you washing at? Try washing hotter. I'd be cautious of bleaching to lighten them unless you're trying to turn them bone white; you might end up with a weird green/yellow tinge.

IHSH-167, selvedge sailor cloth workshirts, in white and indigo... Fabric looks awesome to me! I'm not sure what "sailor cloth", but it looks damn good to my eyes. ironheart.shop-pro.jp/?pid=114872413It looks and sounds like it would be a really dense weave canvas. The white looks great from the start and that indigo will look incredible if you beat the hell out of it for a few years..

No doubt it will shrink but it will still maintain the same proportions.
Might just have to get it; it's a beauty.

Man... they have already started releasing size 48, in some of their shirts. The specs I've seen have excessive amounts of shoulder room. If they dial them back a bit, my wallet is in trouble. I've found that if you have a bit more in the shoulders you don't need as much across the chest. I always used to check p2p measurements first on a shirt, thinking it had to be up around 22". Turns out with a wider shoulder measurement I can fit a 21" p2p easy. For example a The Flat Head 7001 size 42 with a 21" p2p fits me great, but in Iron Heart I find their Medium shirts with p2p 21.5" and up fit me pretty tight and I prefer the Large. I realise this was a few months back you posted; did you take the plunge?

I found this Warehouse work shirt on Rakuten and it looks great. Clean, understated, well put together, what looks like a really nice chambray with some real character. And a good price too. I'm just wondering if it's a bit long at the bottom. What do you call them? Dick-flaps? Anybody got any experience having shirts shortened? Is it easy to find somebody who can do it so it doesn't show? global.rakuten.com/en/store/organweb/item/3076/?s-id=borderless_recommend_item_en

50s jeans 50s jacket That 50s jacket looks superb, both its cut and the denim which ages beautifully. I had a few questions about sizing maybe you could help with. Is it fair to say it is sized pretty small? And does it also shrink much? In terms of other brands I have, for example, a couple of Flat Head shirts in a 42 that fit well, but I'd be nervous to try this in a 42 with its 21" ptp, especially if it shrinks. I realise this is a bit out of the blue, but any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Don't wait too long; I think the Ultra-heavy flannels are going to be few and far between from now on. Something to do with the scarcity of the wild Peruvian cotton they use for them. They're certainly not doing 9-10 of them a year..
How will anyone be able to tell your wearing a $350 shirt ?!
Anybody who knows that an IH shirt costs that much will know anyway. Everybody else I'll just take them to one side and explain it to them.

The black. It's definitely more of a charcoal, which is a good thing.

The 155 arrived today and it's great. It probably fits better than the other 2 IH westerns I've got and the fabric is ouststanding. Unfortunately for me I'm heading into completely the wrong season for wearing it. I might get a couple of evenings when it's cool enough, then it's going in the closet for about 6 months.
That 159 looks alright doesn't it..

Maybe an apron collection is a bad idea, but I'm sure it's acceptable (if not recommended) for a man to have one cooking apron and one non-cooking apron. I mean, you don't want to do metal work in the morning and then bake bread in the afternoon in the same apron. My wife would certainly not allow that, even if I brushed off all the metal shavings. Apparently metal shavings are gluten free.

I would have thought around $120-$150? A drop in the ocean compared to the rest of my new smokehouse operation.

If I had any use for an apron I'd be on that wabash one.. Might have to open up a smokehouse or take up welding or something to justify getting one. I'd have to take that leather patch off though..
