He’s never failed me completely, but count on months and months for anything custom just like pretty much everybody else. I want to take over business operations for Ciano and Indigogene.

Hopefully now he has time to ship my summer chambray pants since it's been four months. Good thing summer in TX lasts until nearly thanksgiving.

I instacopped the cheap light blue chambray. 5oz Usa Mill I have a couple of 5 oz chambrays and find them too gauzy.

I'm guessing that to make money on custom shirts he'd have to charge way more than he's charging. Happily his slim L fits me great.

Did anyone else order their Okayama True? www.weargustin.com/store/5144Mine came today and they are nothing like advertised. First, the blue n red ID. Mine have all blue on one leg, and all red on the other, not blue n red together as pictured. Second, they are NOT slubby in the slightest. The denim is very tightly woven and smooth with no neppies anywhere. Third, there is no "yellow cast" to the weft. It's stark white. As white or whiter than any other pair I have. Overall, they look like a pair of standard Cone Mills. Can anyone else who got a pair weigh in? Can't help you with the yellow cast weft or selvedge ID, but it's a proven fact that gustin may or may not even know what slub means. I have these silk slubs and there's, like, zero slub. Plenty of nep as the description suggests, but that's not what they named the fabric. www.weargustin.com/store/2300

Just commissioned a pair of chinos in 9.5 oz chambray with a zip fly because my current hatred level for button fly chinos is pretty high. Hoping for a quick turnaround for summer wear. Any idea what his current wait time is... That would be about four weeks if he pulls it off.

I talked to a guy from his shop Saturday who said my pants will be here by this weekend and that Manny was making some changes to the process. I am willing to tolerate some time delays for the custom aspects and quality.

Well for the first time in a year I'm actually curious about a New drop. Both the indigos out today look very nice. Anyone have any thoughts I have the canvas and love them. Only bad part is two buttons falling off them on the very first wear.

So he's got the pre and post wash waist sizes listed, but wouldn't the waist stretch back out after wearing them if they shrink? I usually go with a true size 31 so I'm wondering if I should get a size 28 or 29, looking at the twill and duck fabric in particular. The duck shrinks and never stretches back out, at least not the way denim will. I had to give my CFD duck pants away after a cold wash and tumble.

My dad got me a plane ticket to college. One of his friends gave me $500 cash all in ones because he was the best.

Shit out of luck. Same as me after a button fell off my new indigo canvas chinos last night ON THE FIRST WEAR. send them an email, they will send replacements if you ask. then either sew it on yourself, or have a tailor do it. Gustin has also been known to reimburse for this sort of repair in the past, as well. If they refuse all these things, and you can't find a button to use as a replacement, at that point you might be SOL. I have opposable thumbs and a brain so I can sew them on, I'm just pissed. How can they not fix the issue after years of the same complaints? I'm commissioning Manny/Indigogene to make the chambray chinos because this might be the last pair of G chinos I ever back.

I have a pair of 9oz jeans from G and the effing buttons on the fly do come out quite often. I just don't like how they pull on the fabric. Their buttons fall off everything, it's like the longest running Gustin joke.

I emailed him and he said he's not running specials and limiting orders to make sure he can kee delivery schedules tight. I love deals, but these semi-custom and custom guys should price to balance demand (which I do in my business) and price.

Finally tried on my replacement pants from Indigogene. They don't have the flap rear pockets but the fabric is a good 5 oz heavier. Fit is perfect and Manny sent back the slightly too slim pair as well. Edit: just noticed this is selvedge too.

Shirt showed up to my brother's house and is typical insanely high quality. My pants are here but I haven't tried them on. If Manny can get communication and timing down it's impossible to beat the quality for the price.

I'm probably in on those unsanforized. 34 Slim is tight but workable, should I go 36 or 37?

Just got shipping notices for true khaki twill and cone indigo canvas chinos. I ordered them so long ago that I had basically forgotten about them. Well that and they are a month late, which is about avg for them.
