we just got a hold of some JAPANESE 23oz denim ...we have two versions
1. INDIGO with a pink selvage
2. BLACK ON BLACK with a pink selvage.
we will be posting this on our site in the next couple of days with other new fabrics. and Mike is making jeans up now in both so you all can see how we will make them so it will stand up to our LIFETIME Guarantee.
1. 14OZ JPN BROWN ORGANIC HEMP DENIM
2. 11OZ JPN MOSS GREEN HERRINGBONE
THE 23 OZ..... as i was told by our supplier..i will now beable to get more until Dec next year...
I want to buy all of this but, this fabric is verrrrrryyyyy expensive.. the BLK/BLK is a couple dollars more...if you want to know the actual cost of the fabric ..please email me ..i have no problem given that info...
we are not making alot of profit on this but Mike and I feel everyONE should have a pair of these..and still be able to pay our electric bill..HAAAA. this will be my first pair and Mike's first pair of 23oz,,YEAAAAA!!!!!
we will be selling the jeans for $168.00usd for both colors....but i do recommend that you let us make them the way we recommend so the that seams do not bust open.
you will still beable to have the regular finish or the tailor finish,,we are going to make one up in both so you can see how each option looks...
I see that the flat fell seams on the 23-26 oz denim do come apart.[ the chain stitch thread wears down because of the bulk ] .so the taped seam we do does reduce the bulk and is a stronger seam...
on the Indigo..i placed a 14oz CONE selvage denim next to the 23oz JPN so you can see the size of the selvage
Funny story..Our supplier said that they are getting returns on this fabric because the factories in CA and NJ, can not sew this fabric,,,,,HAAA..more for me I say...we can do it...!!!
