I thought they were going to release some workshirt fabrics today, but I guess they are going to wait until Wednesday. They have some really great chambrays and twills coming. We were going to get some new fabrics up BUT we were called to LA to check out a few new fabrics that would have likely sold out if we didnt go immediately. i am glad we listened because it was worth it. Roman is snapping some photos now trying to get them up for sale now. by the way we bought a indigo x indigo 9oz twill by cone that will make a awesome shirt. thats not all, there are 17 new fabrics purchased today. all in all a great day

I'm pretty sure I have a Woolrich coat made out of their version of that 24 oz fabric. Making it into a shirt seems impossible and I don't even break that thing out until temps are sub-freezing. Can't wait to see one of these shirts in photos.

Hi Guys, I would like to make sure you are all clear on the weight of the flannels. Fabrics other then Denim are weighted in linear foot. So the Flannel is 24 oz in linear feet that would equal about 14-16 oz. in Denim weight. I may change the flannels so there is no confusion. Think your average Pendleton Shirt. That is what we have right now.

roman if that is the 'standard' for communicating flannel (and other non-denim) weights, i wouldn't change it. i would continue to use the standard, and perhaps simply put a small disclaimer statement on the page indicating the difference between denim and other fabrics (exactly like your statement above) if you change it you run the risk of confusing any customers already familiar with that weighting, or those who are at least familiar with the weights of other companies...and then being upset if they receive a differing product.

Damn.. that Cone Mills Post Dyed Military is going to make a sweet Chino! To make sure I know what I'm looking at, that's a swatch of the fabric sitting on top of an (*ahem*COUGH*okayama standard*AHEM*) indigo denim swatch, right?

roman will shirts sewn up with the wool fabrics be lined at all? if so, neck and cuff only? do you know what material will be used for the lining? also, any chance of a wool shirt to be sewn up and included on the site for a product shot? we know how the designs look with the denim, but it would be great to see a sample sewn up in a wool, especially if you plan to keep getting wools and flannel materials in.

Damn.. that Cone Mills Post Dyed Military is going to make a sweet Chino! I didn't plan on buying a chino. And then that happened. roman, what is the process of dying the denim like? What effect does that have on the fading process of the denim? Did Lawless or Cone dye the denim?

Yeah, the Military Drab seems kind of hidden away. I didn't notice it until it was brought up here because I never think to check under the chinos. Is it possible to get that made up into a jacket?
