Its oiled cloth to be exact Hey Dirty, I have a few waxed jackets, and a great pair of Filson waxed tin pants, but you never wash the stuff, just wax it up when it starts to look a little dry. Is this fabric the same, as I've never seen it in a shirt application. In a way it seems kind of weird to never wash a shirt, but it is very intriguing. |

i really hope LD can get some duck canvas in a few colors. it's taking a lot of will power not to back the TS Moss camp pants...knowing Roman could drop something at a lower price point.

I'm wearing my Filson wool vest as I write this. I do like the denim vest that is currently pictured, and I think would look equally good in the waxed material. They have a CPO in the works, and should have pics up with the new website. They said they had seen Gustin's version, and rest assured it will be more traditional. I'm really wanting now. |

can anyone give me an idea of how the oiled millerains compare to a typical waxed cotton canvas? does it have the same sort of feel, or is it totally different?
for reference, I have a waxed domke camera bag, and the waxed charcoal chore coat from Gustin. I don't tend to like how they pick up stuff like lint and cat hair, so I'm sort of imagining/worried oiled cloth would be worse about that.

If the prices of the shirt and jacket are really 50% off of the current website price, this is going to be the most dramatic change to my wearode. Money is on hand... baby!

Yes the price will be 50% off the curent prices. So $69 will be $34.5 & $79 will be $39.50 & the $500 I was gonna spend is now only going to cost me $250 |

10oz oiled cotton should make for a cool shirt. It is spot clean only but should be fine. Trying to pick one up

What I do know, is that they've been out shopping for new fabrics, so hopefully they'll bring something back in the over 18 oz range. Dirty_Denim would be better able to answer that question. I'm hoping for some too  |

I thought they were going to release some workshirt fabrics today, but I guess they are going to wait until Wednesday. They have some really great chambrays and twills coming.
