Very intrigued by the company. Made in USA and has some interesting details - most notably the exposed fly. heebee.co/There's a 40% off coupon via reddit that has tempted me. I would be willing to test the waters on that fly but the fit isn't what I typically go after.

yeah...had the same thought. what's interesting is the black rubs off with time and brass appears under. i like the patina effect buuuuut, then it makes the exposed fly even more noticeable.

I don't know. I think that fly gives me the HeeBeeGeeBeez. You would think they would highlight that on the main page where every picture is curiously arranged to hide the fly. Unfortunately I think it makes them look sloppy, which is especially bad when they're charging Railcar prices.

Interesting. I think this company could have potential because of the fabrics they're using. The only downside I can see is the price - they're just as expensive as the established brands out there which I think is a hard sell if you're a new company.

I saw the 40% off in your original post. I was just stating that without the code their prices are pretty high considering they're a newcomer. Even at 40% off I don't think i'll try them out just yet. I'm also not a fan of the exposed fly, so it's an easy pass

yeah, definitely are pricey. i was doing a little dig at LD with my comment. let's mark this shiz up and then run a sale! my problem with companies like Heebee is that they seem to offer a nice product, and maybe in some cases the price is worth it, but when they choose to embellish their product with stupid design upgrades just to be different it really takes away from their brand. I mean, who the hell wants to wear jeans with an exposed fly? I'm willing to bet if they offered your standard covered button fly there would be more demand. They're only offering the 40% off because they're probably saddled with a shit ton of inventory that they have to practically give away because of the exposed button fly. The same goes for any other brand that changes the aesthetics of denim just to be different or gimmicky. Customers want quality which means unique fabrics, nice hardware and a decent fit. What they don't want is an exposed button fly, a zipper fly or weird patterned wefts. my two cents

totally agree...the sale probably is due to lack of sales. i really want to try these out but just can't see myself rocking that fly. been thinking if i could hem them up and then take the excess and cover that fly myself.
