www.bluerdenim.com/any of you have experience with this company? I found them by accident and thought there might be some interest in another US made denim company. At first glance they strike me as a little similar to Bravestar Selvage, but slightly more expensive. It looks like they use your standard Cone Mills fabrics on their jeans but i'm curious as to the fit and quality.

thinking about giving them a shot but their slim taper is more of a skinny fit. would have to size up to get into a pair going by thigh measurements...need to check the knees on a pair of mine to see if they'd be doable. very aggressive taper.
the styles look good overall though - where'd you hear about these guys?

I think I was doing a google search lastnight on Taylor Stitch denim and came across some blog that highlighted 10 must-own denim brands made in America, one of which was Bluer Denim. Looks like they also got their start doing the Kickstarter thing |

went back today to look at these again and hadn't realized earlier that they've got a zip fly.
i stumbled across williamsburg denim recently and was interested in them until i saw the zip fly too. wish they'd provide the option to change the fly.

Yeah, I don't get the zipper thing with jeans. BlueOwl has the Railcar X01's on sale and I nearly bought them before realizing they've got a damned zipper.

The thing I find frustrating about zipper-fly is that after wearing all the darned button-fly, I never remember it's there so walk around all day with my zipper down. |

Hmmm, didn't notice the zip fly. For $100+ jeans these should have a button fly for sure
