Looking at a couple pair of Gustins this morning, I realized the fit I really want in a pair of jeans. I want the jeans to be Gustin's slim fit from the waistband to the mid-thigh (lower rise, smaller thighs), then Gustin's straight fit from the mid-thigh down. Is it time for Gustin to develop a slim-straight fit?
Absent that, who's making the sort of fit I'm describing with interesting Japanese denim?

Yep, that describes Stantons perfectly. I actually like the inverse, G Straight upper with G Slim lowers, which is pretty much Railcar's Spike fit. Both cost more of course, but available immediately and have some nice touches that G doesn't offer.

I need G slims to have a higher rise, roomier seat and thighs.

Stantons are awesome. Also a fan of the Fullcount 1108 fit, too.

Ciano Farmer could work also. They are willing to work with the customer on sizing www.cianofarmer.com/

Thanks for all the recommendations, guys.
For reference, my favorite fit is Baldwin's Reed. The bummer is that they're the one major company that doesn't seem to post full size charts for comparison.

Ive been toying with the idea of springing for a pair of spikes myself....however since im pushing 50 i think i should be more in the full count heritage cut section...lol
