I think the wool blend WS will be great. Doubt i'll get my postal Hbone in time to check fit and back it though. Interesting question regarding the dry clean only potential... but I imagine soaking/handwash/wool cycle would all be valid options. I think the only thing I would ever dry clean would be a suit. Every piece of wool that I own gets either hand washed, or delicate/ gentle cycle in the machine, and of course hang dry. I've never had any kind of problem doing that. Main thing is to keep the heat away with wool, or bad things will happen.

Yes me too. If it looks brown like that I think its gonna cause the BST to be loaded with people selling them off like home loans Really? I think it looks great with those brownish undertones, and it's not like G didn't advertise the weft. "This one has a rich indigo warp paired with a rare olive green weft."

If he puts this up on his KS, I'm going to sell the Gustin CPO on Gustin's BST and back it. Heh. I have been disciplined enough to refrain from backing Gustin's CPO so far. Came close a few times, though. Agree that this one looks really nice. If this cat can get his hands on some of that nice herringbone wool, I'm there.

Russell is a serious talent who makes a lot of really great pieces. Just like anyone sometimes it may be a bit much but even then U can see his talented eye. Some of his shirts have been epic & his pants are seriously better than a lot of what I have seen from brands I dig. He is not the commercial designer that would bring in the masses but if u choose right & pair one of his peices with something to calm it down u should be good to go. I for one like a lot of what he does

Well I'm not familiar with this guys work but that CPO is spot on, looks great. I would buy that without hesitation if the price and fit were right.

Like the looks of that CPO. That is right along the lines I was hoping for with Gustins version, as it is pretty much what everyone asked for. Still can't believe how they got it so wrong.

Hi! We wanted to let you know that your Gustin order shipped! awww yeah ladies. Mine too. Now it's time to start the "they're shipping all the Gustin Friends stuff last" rumors. Unfortunately, I won't be able to dress up like a conductor for halloween tomorrow, but I should be getting it Saturday so I can put in a full day of bitching about it before I have to go to work on Monday. In all seriousness, I'm afraid it's going to be so big I look like a wee child (classic XL, because the Gustin Large pulls at the chest buttons on me -- but I'm trying to wear it as a jacket), but the thought there is that I can wash it on hot if it is to shrink it down a bit and still be able to wear it Monday.

I think we might be right about the same size (~168 5'11) so wouldn't that be a predicament. For reference, I picked up the Taylor Stitch blue railroad stripe in a 42 and that's just about perfect.

man I'm hoping this thread is filled with a bunch of happy backers tomorrow. Despite our issues with the recent stutter in the brand, I think we'd all like to see this be a homerun for Gustin. Makes me sad that the community page has pretty much been decimated, it would usually get all aflutter with excitement as the anticipated items would ship and show up in mailboxes.
Also hoping that my first response, upon pulling it on, isn't laugh-out-loud "omg this is gigantic". If so, I guess Schwarzenegger over there can trade with me. That workout sounds intense, ickes.

exophobe; yes!!! but I can't get it!!!! lol...its sitting in my freaking mail box but I can't open it. I live in a newly built are that has community mailboxes. At the bottom of each tower of mailboxes are two big boxes where the post offices leaves packages for you. They put a key in your box to open the bottom box to get your package, but the key won't freaking open the box!! I'm pretty bummed about it, have to wait till Monday now.

I am seriously concern about the fit of the work shirt after the photos on the G community. I should know better that people talk highly about G shirt are either have very specific body type or they really don't know how shirt should fit on the body. Will know for sure on Monday.....
