I asked them that on StyleForum. Josh said that they would return in the fall (or something to that). So drop in September for December delivery? Once again catering to the masses that don't live in SF Yeah, someone posted that thought, No response from Josh. It seems he's posting less and less and I'm starting to care less. I think the WS question was my last. I'll still back some Gustin stuff (maybe another WS I can screw up, a couple more T's) but its lost its soul. Became more of a JCrew.

So drop in September for December delivery? Once again catering to the masses that don't live in SF could mean anything really. Could mean July for September shipping or November for January shipping. "Return in the fall" doesn't sound like July to me, but ok.

Ciano seems to be trying pretty hard to fill the Gustin sized hole in many of our hearts. I was hoping for shirting from him, but I think we've overloaded him with denim and canvas pant orders.

I had asked him about shirts. Think he said eventually but not yet. Good for him. I've got a pair of Wabash jeans coming, looking forward to seeing how those fit. I still have/Do recommended Gustin. But I've been there done that and there's nothing that's holding my loyalty to them.

I would be in on a couple more interesting workshirts in the future . A Wabash, Indigo Canvas, heavy Twill , but most of all a Flannel. Not sure why they don't try one of flannels or Twills on the WS.

I always hoped for a second run of the wabisabi. I missed out on the first run cause I was unsure of sizing when it dropped. the way my luck is it will probably never be ran again

The Gustin Postal workshirt is the only shirt I have from them, but it is a diamond. Like the Cone flannel in the article also, as the weight is getting near IH territory.

Thanks. Had never heard of that tumblr. I'm pretty sure I also spotted one being worn by Adam Goldberg on @midnight, too. Hell, I thought it might be hard to find a supporting screen capture, but it's in the preview still of the video here.

Speaking of Gustin WS's The more I shop around for a classic Denim Shirt, the more I think Gustin had the best value. Looking back I wish I had picked up the Zimbabwe WS. Or even the IndigoxIndigo. Of course if the fit didn't work for you I can see why some may pass. Ill avoid the patterned fabrics (G never seems to be able to get those alined). Also I'm coming around to having them come with tonal stitching. Less to clash with, your jeans having enough contrasting stitching. Now if only they could make them an 1.5" shorter Or if only I could find a decent (English speaking) Tailor!

Prepare yourself... G workshirt fit, alignment and cut is stellar. My Wabisabi was a little Kim Jong Un at first, but after a wash it's a great fit, and length shrank from bottom of jean pockets to right in the middle. Will absolutely buy a few more when they get off their lazy ass and drop more.

I'm thinking the Sew Shop they are useing must be working on other suppliers shirts, who should recieve there stock come Sept. Then once those cutomer orders are filled they would have some free time to fill G's orders.

I'd get another G workshirt, but it has to be a homerun fabric. Like Dig, I'd like to see them shorting them up an inch, or so, as not all fabrics will shring that much with a wash. Still workable though.

DigDug -- sadly I think that's the full story. It'd be cool to see new workshirts delivered at the beginning of fall, but I guess if we want that, we have to go with sugar cane, iron heart, momotaro, the flat head, rogue territory, etc, and then sell off all your gustin as you replace it.

Still workable though. This is how I feel. I have the postal HB and the Italian Brown/Black and I've got to say they are excellent garments. Borderline shirt/light jacket, construction is as good as anything I have by the top tier brands (except button attachment). I'm in for a couple more with the right fabric. Funny, I think I'm the only person who is meh on the Web Sabi. I backed it and sold it off before receiving it to someone who loves it. I'm like ickes with the Grey Silks, I don't hate the Wabi, it just doesn't do anything for me. Everyone else loves the thing to death (which is cool and has made it a grail item). I do hope Gustin drops a few choice WSs this fall though.

The above mentioned brands make some very cool shirts for sure. The problem I have, is out of all of them, only IH makes a shirt that actually will fit me, and only in a few of their offerings.
