Don't understand why people wants to back a wool shirt right now. To joke at Gustin's expense, backing it now means you'll get it by Winter 2015.

To their credit they did say it's the last CPO for the season. Fwiw.

gusjin yeah, it was tailor and fit is pretty much perfect now. The only problem is the fabric... not going to sell it since it looks so much better in the picture than in real life... Plus, how would you fill all that free time if you no longer had your Gustin hickory stripe workshirt to disparage with metronomic regularity? I know I always look forward to the next exciting update.

I actually like the Gustin CPO design and don't mind all those pockets. However, after my experience with their work shirt, the "fit" is worrisome. I know I am stereotyping but I feel Gustin has a tendency to design their tops based on certain groups of folks in San Francisco. Even I am from there, my body is not a "direct fit".

Here is a fit/color comparison between a medium classic Gustin Zimbabwe workshirt and a large IHSH-76… (Don't mind the bolo )
Pictured in same lighting with the same LD 18.5oz jeans to show most accurate color. There are many differences between the two shirts, but both shirts actually have a surprisingly similar surface texture… Right > Left .... by a lot. My "opinion".

My opinion. On the real though, like the Bolo do. Not something I could sport, but as Ted Mosby once said, "Pulling them off."

Maybe because Japanese doesn't eat BBQ and Beer during Sunday to watch the Packers kick the Cowboys butt. Go Packers! (or whoever going to kick the Cowboys butt)

Both shirts look fine, but if I were going to do a days labor, I'd much prefer the Gustin cut. The IH cut would show your belly button if you were to lift your arms up overhead, but yes, I know, some folks like their shirts to fit snugly, and that's cool too.

Yeah, if you're going to actually work, none of them are good. That's why there's cheap and good Carhartt, Dickies, etc. This is fashion "work wear" sans jeans that can take about anything. Nobody works in a $400 shirt. Unless it's with a keyboard...

When I am doing something with solvents, or oils, or whatever, I will change into something more expendable, or wear the Gustin apron.

I just dedicate a well-worn shirt to such tasks every year or so. I change oil and do all sorts of crap at home and well, I won't even trash a good $25 GAP shirt for such things. Any shirt that costs upwards of $100 or more is certainly bound for going out on the town, not chores, per se.

I wish I could go back in time and teach my great great grandfather something about proper fit with his workwear. Jeesh is overalls had a 6" cuff, shirts were billowy and his boots weren't properly conditioned. Oh the horror.
I don't think anyone really cares a fraction about how their workwear fit back in the day.

Actually, after reading this I put my arms over my head as high as I could to see how high up the shirt would go and I couldn’t even get it to go above my belt. Sorry, I suppose I exaggerated a bit. The IH is a bit shorter, and more fitted. I am envious of you because it is extremely hard for me to find an IH shirt in my size.

Unnamed, the shoulders on the iron heart are noticeably narrower. How does it feel, tho? I ask cause I really want to try rogue territory.
Also, has anyone got an update when the December Workshirts are supposed to ship?

That's the only one I have on order now.

Today, I took delivery of the Japan Khaki WS, my first and only WS from Gustin. www.weargustin.com/campaigns/1099At 10oz the fabric is thick and heavy, the fit is spot on. It's snug but not too tight and I like the length. It's long enough to be worn tucked but I'm going to be wearing it untucked. This is the thickest shirt I own and it does feel substantial on and it's quite warm. The pictures of the fabric on the site look a bit green / greyish but in person it is quite brown and wrinkles quite easily. I've been so excited to wear it and I'm not as discerning as you guys, so I haven't paid much attention to details, nor have I taken any measurements. I've just had it on all day and it feels solid. I'm very impressed.
