I've seen more posts of delayed shipping lately. I consider this a different case than LD being very new. Seems Gustin are more into adding more items as opposed to getting the problems and delays sorted. It's too bad too - there are some things I'd like to get, but the wait is no longer something I'm willing to put up with. I'm not even sure I can deal with the LD wait at this point, so I may be back to searching for off the shelf gear again...at least until things get caught up. On the same note, it appears that LD is being very proactive in building their workforce, and investing in production, with ways to scan items through the process, and have a way for customers to track their orders through the build process, with the sole intent of getting products to the consumer quicker. If Gustin is even trying to accomplish a quicker tournaround, you wouldn't really know, as they are poor in their communication.

True. But when I see posts now of guys waiting four months and no updates, I get worried. If they choose not to communicate, then people are going to talk. And I don't mean feel-good BS emails either. I stand back and look at the two, and one seems to care, the other, meh. I left the fold due to that which put me off completely.

I get that it's not entirely gustins fault I haven't received my order however I didn't hire skyblue, gustin did. The fate of gustin rests on Skyblue's back and gustin just keeps pushing them harder. Two months to wait for clothes is a long time. 3-4 months is bullshit.
They keep making new orders up tho
Sorry I hijacked the thread. I'll stop

I've got 2 shirts from the old LD site, ordered Oct. 4, which is two days behind Dirty's order, and he's stated his were being made. I would assume my stuff is right around the corner. Anxious to get in hand to see where to go from there. I'd be very reluctant to back anything from the other at this point and time. You wouldn't believe one of the BS emails I got from an inquiry.

Whats your thoughts on a popped collar? Too many bad 80's flashbacks for shirt collars up (IZOD). I can't roll with it, but maybe it's not too bad with the scarf there.

Whats your thoughts on a popped collar? Dig, I take myself and the dog for a 4 mile hike down to the river every night after dinner, and when the winds blowing, or the temps are cool, I pop up my collar on a regular basis. Thats what its there for, and I use the heck out of it. I have to add that it needs to be cold, or reason for it, and agree with others that just to do it for style is very 80s

That's a good reason to do it. For "fashion", no.

I hate the look of popped collars, but love the function and wear mine up if I need a bit of weather protection

I pop the collar only for function, rain/snow/wind. Love these wool scarfs, got 8 of them for under $20.

When it gets cold out, I throw a wool neck gaitor that I use skiing, into my pocket ,and I actually like the fit better, and it takes up much less room in the pocket, when not in use.

These are smaller in length (so you dont wrap them around and have to tuck a mile of fabric in your jacket/shirt). There also tubular so your able to pull over your head as a hat neck thingy.

I never dared to pop mine before, but after wearing my goatskin cheyenne jacket/coat I changed that. It has a very "rock your socks off"-y collar that is kinda long and pointed and the thing is, I wear this thing when its cold, and if its cold - i pop the collar in a nano. I have gotten so used to it now that it looks odd to me to not pop it. Im oficially a popper and wil pop anything I can in the future aslong as its a bit chilly and its stiff enough to actually stand somewhat up. I have popped the Gustin trucker and long for a pop-try out with the LD type-2 and the lined waxed one! Cant wait! Once u pop you never stop!

Wow, you know a lot about the company. Did you work for them at one point? Nope, just read the articles and interviews.

Old26 Stephen said today they bit off more that they could chew and didn't factor in holidays off. That accounts for the delays but they are back at full staff now firing on all cylinders. I canceled my workshirt based off these guys reviews and advice. Doesn't seem the fit or shirt is worth the $120 to many members.

...that's probably very true DigDug. By the way, what is that thing wapped around your neck? I think I've seen those in movies before, what are they called? Is it like a big handkerchief or something? Seems weird you'd keep a snot rag wrapped around your neck. You crazy New Englanders, I tell ya...

If it were cold/windy I'd pop the collar on my WS without a doubt. I do it with my chore coat and plenty of other jackets.
