whoa - was expecting a bigger number than $20. good job on that - well worth it! i was thinking $60. thanks. She probably had done close to 50 shirts/pants/jackets for me in the last three years. She can be hit or miss but this time is a "hit".

Agreed...sort of. I wish Gustin would come up with a shirt design that's in between the button-down and the workshirt for fabrics like that. Nothing fancy, just a point collar instead of button-down, two pockets with buttons on the front (but straight up/simple instead of workwear styled, i.e. no need for the pen pocket), toned down scoops (like the Tall fit) with no gussets, and maybe some double stitching where the workshirt has triple. Something along these lines, basically: Totally agree. I think the cutting of the Gustin jeans are right on except the leg opening can be slimmer. However, there is something very strange about the way they design the fits of their tops. Frankly, I am still waiting for my 2 shirts but now with DD joining Lawless, I feel I can trust Lawless to give me a fit that will work for normal people like me....

My Zim WS should be here Saturday or Monday. Fit pics will follow shortly after. Are there any pics of a standard denim WS in the wild yet?

would love either of those cuts for the brown slub chambray. i want that fabric, just not in the standard gustin oxford cut the weight of the fabric helps the shirt wear more like a workshirt might but it still has the same dramatic scoops and the same idiotic buttons on the collar. i like the shirt a lot and wear it the most out of the "oxfords" i have but yeah...wish it was more of a casual style

I want one in two pockets....

Yup, was just gonna say that. I would bet a small sum of money that it's the same stuff.

I'm sure it's the same material, but most sizes have been unavailable for quite some time. Perhaps it'll get a restock some day, but since it was a collab who knows.

I have that shirt and it's the same fabric (yes beating a dead horse here ha ha). I think you guys should email TS and ask them if they are going to re release that shirt in that fabric. It's worth asking. The worst thing that could happen is they say no, (not so bad) but if enough people ask they might do it. I have that shirt in blue as well, those two shirts are some of my favorites. Medium heavy fabric, good drape, snaps....good shirts!
They make the same cut in a brushed twill right now. No personal experience but I'd be looking at those if I didn't already have the two in chambray.

Shame the indigo/red stripe chambray wasn't re-released in a WS. Agreed...sort of. Something along these lines, basically: I think that would look pretty badass in some of their chambrays and flannels and other heavyish fabrics. Yup! Just like a Patagonia shirt cut.

Emailed them today about the possibility of a return, or that fabric being used for a different cut shirt.

I ordered the same size and fit and now I'm worried. For you reference, I am 5'10" and 158lbs. I'm 6'0" and 160 lbs. Perhaps I should have ordered slim fit.

I'm 5'11", 170lbs and am convinced that if I had ordered a Classic Medium the fit would have been nearly perfect.

Little hesitant waiting on the cone 101 WS. Thinking I might just cancel it and take the credit. After wearing IH it's gonna be hard to compete.

Got the Zimb WS in today. Pretty impressed with it. Buttons seem nice and tight and the fit's what I was expecting - slightly longer. Might still grab that stock IxI in the larger XXL to have as an overshirt. It's not IH as said above and the difference in price for what IH is going for from Japan pushes the favor towards IH but I'm not at all disappointed with what I received.
I'm a bit surprised they didn't keep their red button hole on that last button...

Yeah, I wish they'd keep some of their design signatures, but it seems when they do tonal stitching on jeans, all design flourishes are stripped (red chainstitch hem, red crotch and hem bartacks, blue pocket stitch). Same thing on the workshirts -- the red final hole would be a nice touch, and maybe a red bartack on a pocket, or at the gussets, something like that.

Agreed on the red button hole. Rogue Territory has made a huge number of variants in their Supply Jacket and they always keep their 2nd button hole white stitching intact regardless of fabric or tonal/contrast stitching. That's how you build a brand identity, especially on a signature piece.
