bigblack; I dont, because I just went to Lawless last night and ordered a heavy black work shirt for about a third of the price...I suggest you do the same. I actually have two on order from Lawless, one murdered out with black snaps and black stitching in a 14 oz slub (i think that fabrics gone now btw) and another one in the Black2 fabric with copper stitching and black copper buttons.

I was actually talking to Roman about getting a swatch of the Black Candiani before I put in an order for one. He didn't send me the swatches and the denim sold out. So now I'm just going to wait till he reups on it or he finds another blackxblack denim. I do have a western shirt that I ordered from Lawless about a month ago.

Also, since I backed it and have been watching it like a hawk, I have noticed that while funding for the Wool Denim WS has more or less been at a standstill, the last couple of days it has taken big leaps in funding. Basically jumping 10-15% per day all at once. I wonder if this is an artifact of some kind of delayed funding "refreshing" of the progress, or if Gustin is dicking around with the metrics to get it funded.

Slim I can't provide measurements just yet since I'm still at work, but after a warm wash (inside out, extra low spin speed) my hickory stripe definitely tightened up, and fits exactly as I was hoping. have you been able to take measurements and see if it's on spec? Or is everything fitting, it's just cut too long by spec?

This is likely a function of people receiving their workshirts. I know I'm impressed with mine, but it didn't quite get me over the fence on the indigo wool. My clothing budget already hurts with all the other stuff I have in the pipe, just can't justify another workshirt, even though I think the Gustin wool is going to be great.

To that end, I think the funding started out slow on that one since there were so many workshirts in the mail when they released it. Not having a full sample really seems to be hurting the campaigns for the CPO and workshirt, moreso than it ever had with the jeans.
Also, all the enablers moved on to something else when they were shown the door.

5'9', L Classic here. Workshirts are just barely too long to go untucked IMO. I wish they were just an inch shorter

herringbone WS posted on G's IG - supposed to drop tomorrow (can't get a link to their post). Caption on IG: "Tomorrow is our first all-American Workshirt release." So, uh, what was the Cone 101 then? "It's time for a true all-American workshirt - Cone Mills selvedge denim from North Carolina, sewn up with care right here in the USA. Gustin workshirt made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from Cone Mills in North Carolina. Our first truly all-American workshirt starts with classic denim from Cone Mills."EDIT: There's a very good chance I end up backing this shirt, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to snark.

Or is everything fitting, it's just cut too long by spec? I didn't measure. The body fit, but it was just too long. The tails go past my entire buttocks/crotch area. I already did a HOT soak (70º C, 158º F) and I got minimal shrinkage. I will take measurements tonight.

I wish for about 3" shorter. But, that's based on having bought a great quality RT WS. It set my baseline standard

This was a warm wash, hang dry. If your plan is to wash this guy, be sure you size up, and go cold if those measurements were close for you. It ended up in pretty much a perfect place for me, works great over an undershirt and a button-up, and after the wash, I can still put on a coat fairly easily. Really enjoying this shirt, and after the wash it seems to have really differentiated itself from the Taylor Stitch Railroad Stripe I likened it to in an earlier post. In any event, I'm really happy with this guy, excited for the Wabisabi that I sized somewhat the same way (Slim XXL) since I know I'll be able to wash and wear, and then also really looking forward to wearing the Brown Black as a regular shirt.
