Don't knock yourselves up too badly guys, as its really about as silly as proclaiming a 90 day no drinking policy. Not happening here. Plus, the whole idea makes it sound like you have a problem, or something, lol I don't have a problem, I can quit any time. ...maybe after I buy one of these...

I'm still hanging in. It's been tough with my G IxI's being (apparently) the last ones they are shipping out (still waiting) and my Ciano's being on week 14. So if I just get some items in hand, I wouldn't need to break down and buy anything else.
My GF tried to be a good sport (or enabler) and buy me a pair of G grab bags - and it ended up being something I'm definitely selling.

So many times I've gone to IronHeart.jp and put items in my cart thinking"Fcuk that no spending crap! I've got my finances under control, so I can buy what I want!"... And, then I beat myself up over it and don't buy.

Ironically, we are making us do this contest, which seems to be the hardest amount of guilt. We don't win anything aside from telling a relative bunch of strangers that we didn't buy anything for 90 days. I have told people outside of here about it just because I want to see if others have the same willpower/discipline to try something like this. If anything, my girlfriend opts to buy me stuff so I don't bring it up to her when she goes shopping.

I just realized that Devastitis no longer exists on the forum (it says deleted member, unless he's under a new alias), this raises two thoughts:
1. Does this mean he broke down and bought himself something and opted for self-removal over telling us? 2. Are we all off the hook since this was his idea??

It looks like he returned 4 hours ago. Maybe he overcame the struggle of buying something.

And I Failed! Went up to Montreal this past week. Wasn't planning on buying anything and wasn't really looking. Walked into a Boutique shop and what do I see.. OoH La La (no really I said that. They speak French there) ..... A Canadian made, Heavy Wool, CPO in a red buffalo plaid! Now I could say my wife bought it for me But that wouldn't be true. She simple gave me the Go ahead (our money is all mixed together anyway).
It was marked down and the exchange is good right now (1.27 Canadian to a dollar right now)
So there's my Confession.

Pics? ? That CPO sounds awesome! Yes, pics are required when you fall off the wagon. So that we may be tempted live vicariously through your noble sacrifice.

I'm still rolling along strong! The items that I have been stalking as an excuse to spend are losing their appeal... Even the IH-526J-DD.....
This is all mostly because I know I still have a big grip of cash I will have to fork over to Brian the Bootmaker in a month or so... These engineer boots are a HUGE gamble..... I've never owned a pair, and I'm really shooting straight to the top tier with this purchase, not knowing if I'll even be able to work them in to my wardrobe the way my mind has pictured it..... #FirstWorldProblems

Home improvement projects have been siphoning all my petty cash off. A roll of Tyvek costs 43 bucks! Robbery.

Too "lumberjack-esque" for my personal style, but it looks damn nice! I assume it's lined?
