Looking back I think my biggest regret is caring about clothing at all.
I would have a sicker car or a vacation house. But instead I have indigo on everything.....what a trade off.

Funny, I regret NOT backing the Azures and everyone seems to be panning them so maybe I actually got lucky.
As for stuff I've backed, I'd say I have no real regrets but I never wear my Japan Umbers. They look fine, but they just don't interest me.

Hopeful, did my research, but file this under possible future biggest regret:
Ordering four shirts before knowing if they'll even fit me correctly. I get carried away sometimes, you know?

Do you think if Gustin chimed in on this thread that they'd give the Star Jacquard's the honor of their biggest regret? Or would it be those colored failures from a few months back that barely lasted a week?
Any others I'm missing?

Regret #1: Wish GUSTIN offered the Beasts in a 40 as they sewed small. Regret #2: Not ordering the GUSTIN Postal 'Boners for me (got for my son). Regret #3: Putting trust into LD. Regret #4: Putting so much time into talking about this stuff

Shit, now I'm second guessing my choice of straight for the blackxblues I just backed. I don't know why I continue to buy clothing like this without being able to try it on first. I like the taper on the slims I have, I just want a looser and higher top block. Maybe I'll just size up and keep it slim? Damn my indecision! i'd recommend sizing up.

Super heavy orange twill shirt in classic L. After trying it on, it's just too heavy for me. This will most likely be posted on eBay. Also, trying really hard to convince myself that I like the pinstriped chambray.

In all honesty my biggest regret is my Heavy Americans. Mine seem to loosen up so damn much after a couple wears. Plus they don't fade worth a damn and they don't seem that "heavy", especially for a 16.25oz weight denim.

I'm about to make a very unpopular statement, and I'm ready for the backlash.....
I just got my Grey Silks, and I'm not even slightly happy with them. Somehow, this denim has pulled off looking "boring" and "too fancy" at the same time... Also, this was the first time in a long time that I've put on anything denim (Including shirts) less than 14oz, and I am totally turned off. Even the selvedge id is annoying me.
On another note, the fit is good, but I've owned so many pairs of Gustin jeans, nothing less should be expected.
All in all, I'm unhappy. But, I will keep them in my closet for whenever I have another photo shoot. Odd items turn out well in modeling

I thought it long ago...they are Gustins most overrated denim imo. My little conspiracy theory is that Gustin "gets ahold of this ultra rare silk blend denim" because well, noone else wants it. I dont own them but I never understood the hype over the grey silks and I agree with your thoughts. I also agree with your thoughts on denim below 14oz.

The best explanation I have is "If Neil Armstrong wanted to wear raw denim in space, this would be the pair for him"

I didn't actually get them. The shines fall into the category of "what was G thinking" for me.
