Yeah his shoulders clearly distort that shirt imo. Their country of origin/character identity crisis is extremely off putting add to the marginal if any savings on the Chinese shit and wowzers. Like that sweater but oh well. You guys own any sweet Irish cardigans? Need to score some deals. Sorely missing some sweet sweaters.
Edit: Idk, many sizing complaints with recent shirt purchases on styleforum. Think they would have sorted their sizing issues out by now.

I'd second this. I think my favorite pair of chinos is the 10.75 oz selvedge indigo canvas from Gustin. They were $100. Just amazing pants, even more so now that they are starting to fade a bit. Right!? I've dropped some weight and need a tailor to bring them in and wonder if they're a pain or not. The fades actually compliment the pants in a non-intrusive way imo. Always look for another indigo/like chino to drop from them.

Let's talk camp pant sizing.
I'm between sizes 31 and 32. Thinking about sizing up and not having to worry about waist shrinkage.
I also really like the Crater shirt, but I just don't think I can do it.

I like the new crater shirt like a lot lot. Subtle homage to my awful Miami Dolphins. Don't worry. You have Cutler to right the ship!! Enjoy the season. As a Bears fan I can say with certainty there will be much excitement. The sideline pouting is a special treat. To be honest, you'd be better off with Matt Moore. I was actually really looking forward to seeing Cutler in the booth this season. I think he'd be a pretty good color man. Certainly better than Moose Johnson.

Would anyone like to ghost write my feelings about this? Is TS trolling us? I was willing to accept (and even purchase) Portguese-made clothing, but China is too much. I don't really go on Style Forum or similar websites, but are others calling out TS for this stuff? Are we the only ones who give a shit? I used to buy Ibex stuff too, which was mostly made in USA, but now more and more of their stuff is made in Vietnam. It seems like we're moving backwards. Edit: The local Patagonia store just had a big sale and I bought a bunch of winter stuff there for my kids. Most of Patagonia's stuff is made in SE Asia, but they are maniacal about ethical sourcing up and down their supply chain. They are also a type B corporation. That is something I can support. I'm not sure that TS or most other US based brands go to those extremes to vet the Asian factories they partner with.

SF folks do call them out on the Made In China stuff but prolly not as critical as the group on here.

Yeah, the guy from TS used to respond somewhat regularly to individual complaints and order issues but he's all but disappeared since the MiC negativity started.

This could very well be the last MiUSA run of glacier shirts. I've held out on this one for a long time, but may back it this time around.

The navy plaid crater shirt looks decent. First item I'm considering backing in a long time. TS has been uninspiring for too long now.

Yeah, the guy from TS used to respond somewhat regularly to individual complaints and order issues but he's all but disappeared since the MiC negativity started. When it was MikeG, he responded fairly quickly (maybe twice a week unless PM'd). Steve seems to be less involved and is more once every 2-4 weeks, but with a whole slew of responses. The MiC stuff...we complained on there a lot, but their response was "MiUSA deals with sweatshops too!" "Trust us, we think these guys are better"....

And that's why I won't be buying from those dillholes again. How is shipping material to China, using dodgy labor and shipping finished goods back to the US really better for anyone?

And that's why I won't be buying from those dillholes again. How is shipping material to China, using dodgy labor and shipping finished goods back to the US really better for anyone? That's just it, unless they're milling he fabric in China, there is no reduction to carbon footprint. And even then, you still have to ship it over here. Plus, like I mentioned on their Facebook, Chinese factories often outsource some production and have a main factory that looks clean and sparkly and can pass all that certifications. That main factory gets the finished goods and exports them, but assembly is done elsewhere in a factory that isn't up to par. There is no telling if that's the case here. That said, I might buy the glacier in hickory indigo stripe as it may be their last MiUSA offering. I don't get it. When I attended their dinner with Union Wine Co Mike told me they weren't a clothing company, they were a brand. Their brand was built on American made, and focused on small artisanal producers etc. Such a sudden shift makes no sense.

I do think that TS was sort of caught, much like Flint and Tender before them, by being priced a little too low for sustainable MiUSA products. F&T now uses cheaper materials and a simple distribution. TS is clearly just giving up and will be consumed by the 1,000 MiC fashion brands already out there.

It made me laugh to realize I typed all of this wearing a MiUSA J Crew t shirt. Amazing how a brand bringing things back here can interest me, but going the other way just makes me ignore you.

I find the 9oz flannels from TS (these new ones are 10oz) much more wearable then the Ultra Heavy IH.
