I asked ts to make larger necks cause the 42 with a 16.5 is too tiny for me. Need a 17 to even try to button and 17.5 with shrink would be perfect. Iono why I got a hulk neck for my build haha Aren't you in SFO? Shouldn't you be a thin, hand wringing, tiny necked hipster with 61 denim jackets and some boat shoes? Didn't you see my pics in wywt lol, I'm a bearded Asian stud with broad shoulders and a wide ass neck who is a chemist. If you met me 10 years prior, I was a skinny natty ice fixed gear kid in Davis,Ca. Plus hipster ride cafe motos, I ride a squid moto haha.

I serious don't get the painted belts. I hear they go well with third nipples and metal buttons.

Not sure what you do to your shirt to get the buttons chipped up but I doubt plastic/horn/wood etc. buttons could survive intact either.

The buttons don't get chipped, the paint on them does.
I'm referring specifically to the mechanics shirt buttons which are aluminum with a black powder paint coating. The new chambray are aluminum with a white paint coating.

Alright...all three Chambrays look nice. Good job TS. I'm with northcoast though, I don't get the chipping buttons thing These were workshop items before. And the chipping buttons is a throwback thing, and also I think it looks cool.

Shawls look pretty damn nice, but no way I can do it at that price.

Another week of passing on TS. I just can't get behind the shall look, and these should be out by Summer, seems odd

Shawls look pretty damn nice, but no way I can do it at that price. I like the indigo cardigan. I have a bunch of cardigans and I really love them. $198? Kinda much $148 I would had backed it. I have a 30% off coupon but waiting for a better product to back

I've been debating about buying a cardigan for a few years but have a fear of looking like Paul Riser.
This is not the cardigan that I am looking for.
To me a sweater should be warm, but I guess this is a spring sweater, but I can see through it. I'm certain it provides good company in the closet with non-jacket jackets.

Are we seriously having this conversation? Sooooooo...cargo shorts aren't cool but we really love these cardigan shawl things...

I like cardigans...a lot, but $200 for a cotton one with no real warmth is too rich for my blood. Some very nice MiUSA LL Bean ones can be scored on eBay for less than $50 and they're frequently wool to boot. Probably can be had at thrift stores even cheaper, but more size and color options online. Looks like I can save my money this week.

Shawl cardigans are the perfect replacement in fall or spring or summer for a jacket or a hoodie. When I'm sailing, out on the water for drinks (while wearing boat shoes and nanny red's of course) great to give your girl while walking the beach at sunset.

Only saving grace is the indigo factor but it's not worth it.

Looks good, keeps you warm, can double as a jacket, and most importantly...ladies love it. Great stuff. But this? THIS? This is really a terrible look. Ponce city, USA.

"Nanny red's" sounds like an opportunity cost with a hot Nanny, preferably blond and from somewhere in Scandinavia.

Ok....I get it now....someone from StyleForum has hijacked brentkuz's account and is posting as him. If this is really brentkuz....I don't know if you're being serious or silly when you're speak of sailing with drinks in red pants and boat shoes. This is not grandfather cool. Grandfather cool is repro wear/work wear/WWII inspired clothing...the things I like to wear. This is uber-preppy-douchebag. It's funny you mention the part about giving it to your girl while walking on the beach at sunset because when I look at these on TS website I have a hard time telling if these are made for men or women.

I think this one has one or two too many buttons, as per TS rules/regulations/design flaws, but the shawl cardigan is a pretty timeless style. Not a fashion piece.

Alright, clearly TS is in a slump with new drops. Like baseball and other sports, what's it going to take for TS to have a "slump buster"? A 22 oz. canvas camp pant? An indigo-dyed mechanic's shirt with buttons that are chip-proof?
But they'll probably drop a linen floral shirt and some more long wings.

I am unsure it is really slump, or we have too many similar clothes in the closet. Btw, what I realize lately that heavier is definitely not equal to better... especially the most physical part of my job is to take my laptop from my office to the meeting rooms.

Uber-preppy-douchebag? Jeesh stereotype much?
Look at Steve McQueen and Daniel Craig's Bond. Not even close to being preppy.
