Just stopped in at Taylor Stitch and tried on a lot haha. The black watch project jacket looked good on me. I thought I looked like I was going to hunt with a shotgun.
Tried on the Isc in a 42 and felt it was perfect for me compared to my swift mills. The long haul in a 42 was too small as I couldn't even button it.
Didn't see the moss mechanics or I missed it.
They had samples of the new workshirt and I like how they felt, very soft and prolly will drape a lot better and quicker compared to denim material.

I'd love to have a crack at thier marketing/design departments about their jackets. They run too small and too short and too tight. They seem to be designed to showcase the wearer's shirt more than protect from the elements and you know, function as a jacket.

The guys are standup as usual and we chatted about basketball and lunch. Tried on the moto jacket in large and sleeves are pretty long. Chest was tight but I read it usually breaks in. My lady said I looked like my dad in his old photos. @scooter I never seen the glacier in person but agree about the collar and two pockets.

Friends and family think it looks like something from the 70's and the sleeves are wicked long.

FYI I've got two Glacier shirts that I never wear that I will sell. Both of them are tag sized 40 but are sewn up closer to a 42. I have both colors, brown and navy. They are a neppy selvedge fabric with white snaps. Very nice. They are these: I'd buy those from you quick if they were closer to my size, or at least sewn closer to a 40 than 42 (normally wear a 38 in TS)

Fabric is substantial, I'd say 7-8oz, somewhere in there. Lots of texture and nep but not overly neppy IMO. Red Selvedge ID runs down the inside of the placket

(wondering how much shrink might be left in it)

@david the brown has never touched water. Still has visible creases in it from it being folded up in the package when TS sent it to me.
The blue one has been cold soaked and hang dried once. I did that because I had the suspicion that it is Indigo dyed although that was never mentioned bu TS. Sure enough the water was blue after the soak.

I'm tempted as well. They are the same fabric as Gustin's indigo and brown slub chambray.
Also, imho The new work shirt fabrics should have been used for the California shirt

That is tempting ickes . Go ahead and relieve my temptation and buy them devastitis I'm on a cop freeze. If I end up returning a pair or three of boots I bought in the last two weeks, I'll have some more funds to spend. But until then, no go unfortunately. Need to sell more stuff. Beginning to think I may have invested too much in blue shirts. you can never have too many blue shirts. But if you can..I may have too many.
