The pocket only looks weird to me when I'm staring at pictures of clothes on my computer for longer than an adult male human should be. In practice, I don't even notice it on my ISC and I bet no one else does either. That said, I'm going to wait the full 16 days to decide on the natural jacquard. I just recently backed the same style shirt in salt/pepper chambray and I'm not sure I need a raft of workshirts rolling in in the middle of summer. Yup, that's why I haven't completely written off the shirts yet. Pockets look odd, but will I or anyone else really notice them when I'm wearing them, and I think the answer will be no. The fabric and style is enough to make me want them in my closet. And if they do stand out like a sore thumb, I can just return them. Lucky you. IT will drive me crazy and I will catch stuff about the baby pockets from a few people. But I gotta be me right so I'll just order up this here white workshirt and the CF wabash vest, put them together and BOOM! Instant Zoolander!

ah you guys are nuts....lol...talking yourselves in to buying this thing. It's a monstrosity of a shirt. Will anyone notice the pockets? Are you kidding? Those two big things sewn on the front of your shirt? Oh no, nobody will notice at all if you just wear it inside out and walk backwards. Bah...crazy

Now those are some shirts that look like they don't know what they want to be. Just weird. This. It's as if TS got these fabrics, and didn't quite know what to do with them. With summer just around the corner, and these being 8oz fabrics, they may have felt a need to bring them to market, rather than sit on them. With time constraints in mind, they picked the wrong design, and committed to it. They definitely have better designs that would suit these fabrics. One design, that has seemingly been forgotten, is the Glacier..... I may be in the minority, but I would've loved these fabrics in this design.

Should have backed the Jack, oops. Material is tits though. My thoughts exactly. I liked the material, thought the workshirt cut would be more suitable than the Jack. I backed the Jack and regretted it after seeing a few of the teaser pics of the jacquard work shirt. Now that the full pocket silliness has been revealed, I am quite pleased with my earlier choice. Agree with bentin though. That cross jacquard is awesome. Are there other brands using jacquard much? It's such a cool looking fabric.

Eh..Didn't like the Jack, and still wouldn't back it knowing how these workshirts turned out.

I'd love to see those pockets and snaps on this jacquard fabric. Also, i wish gustin had stolen this design and called it their western.

i'm on the fence, though for me it's not the pockets. they don't bother me at all and i kind of dig them on my ISC (full aware that they're more prominent here due to the contrasty button). the thing that i don't like in the full photos is the collar and 2nd button placement. that button seems to high to leave it buttoned, yet the collar is too soft/floppy to look right with it open. as others stated...i may order it and decide once it's in hand.

It'd be really nice if Gustin grabbed it and made a work shirt out of it, though if they find it its more likely to be a button down that I won't buy.

The second button placement is TS's design though. It's like that for most of their shirts that I've seen. I quite like it because I don't button the top button (because I can't), but it doesn't open up so much that I feel self-conscious about it if I don't wear a tee underneath.

The rosé drinking while playing horseshoes with other pampered "hipsters" aside a luxury "tent" whist wearing a "utility" shirt had me LOLing. EDIT: And while I don't think it's a "monstrosity" like ickes says...it's definitely not designed very well. Concur that as a glacier, it would have been great.

Do you size up on utility shirts or go same size?

I had the same issue with my first Mechanic's. My normal size (44) was tight in the shoulder and chest, and sleeve length was at the minimum. I wound up selling it, and sizing up.

They didn't have 42 in moss Mechanic so I went with 40. I might have to try the indigo in 42.

Even the slightest shrink in the 44 would've been no good. I sized up, and warm washed / tumbled medium. I got an acceptable amount of shrink, and I can layer with a heavy t. Only complaint, the overall length is a bit much. A trip to the tailor is in order. It should be an easy fix.

I'm a 40 in TS shirt's but the jackets/sweatshirts etc are a bit restrictive so 42 for any layering

I think whiskeyriver might be right about the indigo long haul trucker not funding. it's been sitting at 18% for the last 4 days. at least they're not fudging the numbers to push items through

I doubt either of these jackets actually fund. Wrong time of year, wrong materials.

Haven't been remotely interested in anything from TS and now I'm starting to tone them out with the women's line stuff. Been just deleting emails as the come in.
