So is the general consensus that the Mechanic's shirt is one of the "best" TS shirt offerings? I was hoping for a restock of the Yosemite in my size, but I may just grab a Mechanics since it seems really functional. It's not my favorite shirt but my most versatile/used. I've gone from it being a base layer to worn on its own to wearing a tie all in the same day. It's a 4 season shirt. When I'm not sure what I'll be doing, it's my go to. Great to wear to work or laying around the house.

I have debated the California shirt as well, but while as good as the TS shirts are, I think I could get something more unique than just a classic chambray. $25 gift card is really burning a hole in my pocket.

I'm in on the british khaki. Love that color.
Can anyone report back on mechanics shirt shrinkage after washing? I haven't washed my black one yet.

You know the answer is to buy the black one to make the wait on the mustard one survivable.

P.S. they call the new mechanics "indigo," but it's indigo in color name only.

I wouldn't expect more Yosemite until fall, though I suppose a restock isn't totally out of the question.

British khaki is sweet! I did size up to a 44 for the mechanic shirt. Traded to whiskey for my 42. I feel my run came in tight in the stomach and arms.

Yeah I was thinking the same. I'm wondering if it's the same color as the navy they dropped a few years back that I have. I was thinking of emailing and asking them. Do they say somewhere that it isn't indigo dyed? It looks indigo dyed... Yes, in conversation with Mina:Taylor Stitch Customer Service: Ryan! →Mina! Haha. →For clarification, this shirt is NOT indigo-dyed, correct? Taylor Stitch Customer Service: Indigo fabric, not an indigo-dyed garment. →Indigo-colored fabric that isn't actually made of indigo-dyed yarns, correct? Taylor Stitch Customer Service: Indigo fabric is made with indigo-dyed yarn, yes. The the fabric is pre-washed, though. Not like the new Indigo Utility Canvas shirt which is made of canvas that was natural in color and then dyed indigo. Ya dig? →Yeah I dig. So this WILL fade then? But not as intensely as the selvedge canvas? Taylor Stitch Customer Service: Wait wait wait Taylor Stitch Customer Service: Scratch all of that. That is wrong. Taylor Stitch Customer Service: New explanation: →Haha. K. Taylor Stitch Customer Service: All our Mechanics shirts are made of the same fabric; the fabric gets its color not from being dyed, but being colored in a process called 'roll-printing'. Taylor Stitch Customer Service: So essentially, this new Indigo Mechanics shirt was roll-dyed the color indigo. Indigo dye was not used in the process. →Ah, ok. Indigo in color name only. Taylor Stitch Customer Service: Right, you got it. →Thank you so much, Mina! Taylor Stitch Customer Service: Welcome!

Can you follow-up with her and ask if the British Khaki Mechanic's shirt is actually dyed with mustard? I did, and she said "no, it's baby poop." Though she did state that the dye is made from the poop of authentic British babies.
