Tried on the mechanic shirt today. Meh. You know, it's funny, I felt the exact same way when I first got mine. I coveted it for months, and when they finally re-released it, I pulled the trigger. Then I got it, and I wasn't that impressed. Then, I wore it a few times, and it kind of molded to my frame--now I absolutely love it. Give it some time and a few wears--you might change your mind. Alternatively, if it's Moss and 42, consider selling it to me. I concur. I now use it when I layer. Having one pocket an no flap works well.

I just received the Work Oxford. The material is simply gorgeous. Oxford cloth with a black underlying weave instead of white gives the shirt significant depth. Pretty beefy for an oxford shirt. Great fit for me as always.

It looks amazing, and 20% off the workshop price was a steal. I went with the blue Task Jacket instead, when I should have just gotten both.

I think they restocked the work oxfords. Full price but that's what happens when you miss the preordering phase. I also have the TS Charcoal, great oxford shirt. Can't go wrong with it.

Got the natural chore shirt in. It's awesome. I have a tendency to buy stuff that's either blue, brown or black, so it makes for a good change-up.

I really wanted to buy that but talked myself out of it because of possible staining issues. I feel like I'd have to baby it and I hate the idea of doing that to a "chore shirt" that I paid that much money for.

I bought it in 44, so it's kind of loose (bonus: ease of motion), but also sized up so I won't worry about washing and drying. That should keep ye olde stains down. Besides, a little patina ain't a bad thing.

Cool.
I cant size up which makes me thinkg about selling my jean striped workshirt from them.
My mechanics and my dress shirt cuts fit fine though.
Is this a tighter cut?

Compared to my mechanics shirt (in 42), which feels trimmer at the waist, the chore shirt seems to be more of a straight cut. I'm no expert, though.

Anyone else get a maritime from TS? Any other impressions? I did, the olive one. I also picked up the Apolis CPO during the black friday / cyber monday sale. Honestly, been too busy to take a close look at both. But I do want to get some pics up of each, see what you all think side-by-side. The TS is much more of a tailored fit (which I like). Cuffs are really narrow though (and I have scrawny wrists). One thing I noticed, is that the pockets are identically sized on both CPO's. So the TS pockets may look oversized, but perhaps they're standard. I'll post more thoughts later.

Wish, instead of giving us a 20% coupon, they dropped prices to workshop prices for a week.

They specifically said they only had 90 units of this jacket, even says it in the description. Each time someone purchased a jacket, you saw the meter go up by about 2%.

Maybe they pulled a Gustin and "found more fabric"

Or the 100% funded is less than 90. Maybe to fund they only needed 70 and the rest are above and beyond.

I emailed and asked what the deal was (not expecting to hear back until Monday+), also asked if I could cancel my cotton version and move the funds towards this...
Also, think I might use the 20% off coupon for the Pine Work Oxford....hmmm...

Need your advice, gentlemen... so I backed the Taylor Stitch Maritime CPO through the workshop, and I also picked up the Apolis CPO during their Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale. Pics here: imgur.com/a/2NQUiBoth seem somewhat less than ideal on me. Ordered 40(M) in the TS and M in the Apolis. Construction quality and fabric are solid on both - so happy with that. The Apolis is more of a classic, loose fit. I like the hand warmer pockets and it would seem meant to be more of a light-weight jacket. Sleeves are an inch over spec, and a bit longer than I'd like. The TS is a much trimmer cut, and seems to be meant as more of a very heavy shirt. Interestingly, the pocket dimensions are absolutely identical on both, but because of the trimmer and shorter cut on the TS, they look proportionately bigger (and they're placed a smidge lower, as others have pointed out). I should probably return one of these. Thoughts on which (if any) I should keep? Thanks.
