Is it bigger or smaller in chest/waist then the gustin xl? I cant remember the true measurements of the gustin xl....
i mean...does it feel tighter or looser or the same to wear....i think this is on the very edge of being too small for me if it shrinks anything when washing.....bah...

TS 42 is roughly equivalent to the Gustin Classic L, so I'd guess a 40 is closer to M than XL. |

Yep, chest is between a G M and L and waist and length is between a S and M.
A TS 44 is pretty darn close to G XL in every measurement.
TS sleeve length forces me to a 44, which is a little bigger than a Gustin Slim XL.
