How do you guys feel about Oiled 12oz. Canvas? We shaped the back of the jacket so that it sits smooth in the shoulders and upper back. Gives a more fitted look and more comfortable to wear. I only have about 300 yards of this Canvas it's UK British Millerian. Any Thoughts?

I like the coloring, it's a good looking jacket design/fit. The oiled canvas has a great feel to it, really soft. I'm not sure what fabric I'll end up with...

I like the look of the jacket, I like canvas, I like waxed canvas, but I'm not familiar with oiled canvas. Looks cool though...and the oiled canvas shirts you have on IG look good too.

I've only tried on filson's tin cloth jacket and thought it felt damp, like it might actually leach residue

I felt the oiled canvas shirts- they merely felt (to me) very soft and a little like they'd repel water easily (I know that's not a "feel" but that's what came to mind as Roman reinforced that point).

Guys, Do you think the shoulder can come in a little more and arm hole can also go up a tiny bit? Maybe it is me since I like modern/slim fit on everything I wear.

Nice research WilS. Roman brings in some really quality stuff and I appreciate how he is bringing the value to the marketplace.

These fabrics where dead stock from Filson so we picked them up. I have some new swatches coming today. I'm told there are some herringbone and other unique denims that have not hit the market yet. I'm excited to see them. I'll post them here so you guys can give me your feed back. The nice thing is they will not be offered to the market till we decide what we want. I have an agreement with the largest broker in the country (the same place most brands get there denim from.) that we get 1st right of refusal before they are release to the market.

Cool. we will be some type of secret society to pick the fabric before it hits market. Very excited.....

Thank you for explaining this Roman. I recall when you told me about this when I met you at the Cityscape shop. I wasn't sure how to properly articulate this, so this helps! And it's exciting to see some unique fabrics coming in!

Thank you again Roman for the hospitality, and the jacket! That jacket posted at the beginning of this thread fit like a glove (better than the model in the pic), and Roman sent me home with it.
I'm looking forward to breaking this in!
