According to their IG, a custom order from March 22 has already shipped.
What a concept.

I had been meaning to make a thread about them. I've talked directly to the owners online and they told me that it takes approximately 7-10 days for the jeans to be made and shipped.
They're also offering 20% off the month of April and have quite an interesting selection of fabrics to choose from.

They always seem to be marking down for overseas customers. Our gain.
I hope someone takes the leap.

When I first saw this I thought it said Zoso. Which is synonymous with Led Zeppelin. Zoso denim would be selling jeans like these.

To get back on topic they do have the size that works for me. I see they have a custom option also which gets more expensive.
With all of the denim "issues" going on it is interesting to see this on their website.
I take it it must hold up production taking lots of extra time.

I asked how long it took for custom order and was told 7-10 days to be made and complete. They are constantly putting pictures of customers custom orders on their Instagram page so they are getting their orders on time. I'm guessing their construction is similar to that of gustins.

Just received my pair of 21 Oz gold line light shade in the straight selvedge fit that I paid $120 for with free shipping at 40% off. I love them. They fit perfectly and are already very comfortable. I don't have IH's to compare them too because not of them would fit my thighs and taper enough. 3 weeks from order to my door from Thailand to Canada. I highly recommend these if you can get them on sale. If you sign up for their emails, you get 25% off your first order.

I will take some and post. How do I attach pics here - never done that before Been looking at the Soso as a potential option. If you still feel like posting up some pics, I've used Imgur to create an album and just link to it here. It's an option if you don't feel like posting them up in the forum.

matt - I will try and do that. I really like the denim - got the 21 oz gold line in the selvedge fit. I will say that they are very stiff and taking time to work in

bugula - i've had a pair for about 3 months and love them. I got the selvedge fit. They're launching a kickstarter early October where i'll probably pick up a second pair.

These guys aren't kidding around with their vanity sizing. I'm a 33-34 in Gustin and in their straight fit looks like I'm a 30-31.

Wanted to provide a quick review of my Soso custom denim from their recent 5th anniversary Kickstarter. I opted to back the 12oz Bronze-Green broken twill (Kiahara Mills). Broken twill is something I don't have yet, and they are a unique offering I haven't seen in many other places (with that ID). Pics are available here. Fit:
I went with the Slim Darryl fit, and per the sizing guide, I was going to go with the 32 but for their "intermediate" denim and to factor in that I could also shrink these if needed, I went with the 33. The fit is true to the sizing guide. The 33's were a little loose right out of the bag, but after a warm soak, they fit perfectly now. As for the Slim Darryl fit, it's not for everyone - I would equate it to just a little bit above a Gustin skinny and slim fit. The most notable area of "skinny" is the leg opening, but the calf isn't nearly as tight as the Gustin skinny fit. Length/Inseam - I went with a 32, as I'm probably a 31 inseam and post-soak I can give it a single cuff with the ability to stack. Initial Wear:
As I noted, they were a little loose at the top on the initial wear. After a soak, I'd say they fit perfectly. I lost about a 1/2" on the waist in shrink and about 1/4" on the front rise, settling them in right at 10" on the front rise. Definitely a smurf murder on the soak. Surprised to see that, as they don't bleed or rub obviously when you scratch the denim with a fingernail. They did, however, feel a lot more rigid post-soak. Nice for the future fades. Craftsmanship:
For a non-American made denim, the quality is on point. I didn't have any of the sizing flaws with this pair, nor did I notice any twisting post-soak or poor stitching. Details:
The Kickstarter offer provided a couple subtle details that you can also purchase from their website. For $10, I added two: the selvedge ID on the fly (note, when you sit, the white of the ID peeks through and it may cause some observers to think you have your fly unbuttoned. It's not super noticeable), and I did the monogram on the coin pocket. It's not the Brave Star star or Ciano tree, but it's a cool element that makes these unique to me. I want to also point out the veg tan leather patch. Already showing some character after a week of wearing. Also, I know ickes mentioned the questionable size of the back pockets. On mine, they are the same size as the Gustin back pockets, with the only difference being the G back pockets have a tapered internal stitch narrowing the inside of that pocket whereas the Soso's are uniform around the pocket. Value:
For $88 on Kickstarter (plus the extra features I picked, bringing it to $110 for a custom denim that fits better than my other full custom offering...LD), it is a great value. Plus, they offer a 20% discount on all future purchase for the KS backers (I know, that sounds like LD, but these people have been around for 5 years). They are offering a 25% discount on your first purchase if you sign up for email. Not a bad deal. Will I buy again? I plan to soon. They have some unique options from Kiahara that I haven't seen elsewhere. Not to mention the offerings from Thailand and China, if you're interested in that as well. Lots of heavier options on sale right now as well.

does anyone have the straight jeremy tapered in a 32 or 33? Is the leg opening to spec like the size chart? Seems to be the only fit I would try from them
