Could one of you guys in a size 42 with a heavyish fabric give me a PxP measurement.? I have a light weight shirt in a 42, that measures in at 44" but I think the fit guide says it should be 46". Just for future reference.

Echo everyone's thoughts on the canvas utility shirt (sz42 and their oxford and chore shirt are excellent fits in sz42 at 6' 175lbs)regarding funky sizing. At first coming from the cone canvas chinos from Gustin, I was like WTF as it appeared much looser (like others you can see through it at points, thinner, and even had a weird sheen in places. However, after just comparing the two side by side they're fairly similar...IDK:). My chinos didn't shrink much either with cold wash... Fing cuffs are stupid tight and sleeves really long and shoulders are wide as funk. Really bummed as I thought it would shrink with a hot wash. Thanks DigDug for the headsup. That being said, if fit was ok I would love the shirt with the buttons, nailed seams, stitching, etc, and fade potential. Really cool shirt if I sized down maybe.

Also received that cause and effect belt...got stupid with the 20% coupon. Not a fan. Really thin, more like a 38 than 36 as I ordered (like 5" longer then my Gustins, etc.) and does not fit (last hole used and will stretch). The holes are unusually big too, like already sloppy when fastened...without accounting for stretch. Would def return if it fit even. I'm just going with Tanner Goods or equivalent for belts. Just can't get over prices for belts as compared to like shoes. I'm in the wrong business.

So I have 4 other TS shirts all size 44 that measure 23" PxP (46" chest). But the Fit Guide has a size 44 being 48" chest. which is what the ISC measures in at. So I emailed TS asking what I should order in the future.

I did 2 of my 42's at random, Everyday Chambray and Moto flannel, both came in just a shade over 22, much like variable's pic above.
My ISC comes in just a hair under 23.
That said, I'm actually happy with the shirt. I've worn it every day this week either over a tshirt or a thermal and its really starting to settle down and mold nicely. I do think that pocket style was a mistake with a shirt that they seem to have intentionally made a little big, but its not a huge issue for me.

Wanted to provide a second update on my recent TS grab of the olive slim chinos. I don't think they passed QC but still managed to make it to me. You can see within the album here. Two noticeable issues: 1. The frayed seam at the crotch. Not really significant while wearing, but this isn't a good look. 2. Areas of discoloration. You can see patches of lighter color, as if something was spilled on them or the dye didn't take correctly. I've sent a note back to TS with the pics. This is only my second purchase, but so far I'm 50/50 on success with essentially the same product. I did an initial cold soak and have already gotten them hemmed, but I think it's worth bringing to their attention. I don't think it's a pattern, but I am a little deterred to try something else after this purchase (thankfully I use the 20% holiday code at the time of purchase). From a fit perspective, they are spot-on. And I can live with the issues, it just makes them a beater pair instead of a dressier pair of chinos.

Fraying is weird but it might be due to wear? I blow a lot of crotches trust me. After one day of wearing them I can see wear in some crotches.

got an email last night (after an inquiry as to where my isc might be) and was told that they've been having an issue with their shipping software. apparently at least 8 shirts in my size didn't get shipping labels printed, so they were never shipped (though marked in the system as having shipped). they've since re-shipped a replacement. so if any of you are still waiting for a delivery, you might want to drop them a note.

They'll replace them for sure.

Got another whaler sweater workshop update today.
Delayed for another 5-10 days. Apparently instead of shipping to my from TS on 1/15 they will ship from Fall River Mass to California then from California back to me in Rhode Island. Wish I could just drive 15 minutes to Fall River and grab it from the factory. At this point I might just return it anyways since I have a good amount of sweaters.

The ISC, soaking. I did a 45 minute steaming hot soak on mine. My 40 fit me decently already (they were always slightly snug on my lats anyway) so no big complaints on the sizing. Having said that, the instructions they sent out, does that seems a bit extreme for anyone. Super long Soaks and a wash? I never do more than 1 hour on Raw Denim...

p0rkbelly I was going to be out all afternoon and night yesterday anyway, so their instructions fit my schedule. I've got it drying now, so we'll see how much it shrank up.

Reached out to TS on this issue and they've offered an exchange. Pumped for this, as I really like their chinos. I'm looking to grab a shirt as well now. I love the Yosemite, but also may dip my toe in with the California or classic Jack.

Ok ok ok just got the Golden Bear x TS moto jacket it. It appears to be a pretty damn good quality.
Fit is not tight. Arms are a bit long. It's not a tight fit that I need to break in it's comfortable from the start. I went 44. I am pretty sure a Large would be too small.
I will get photos up to see what you guys think about quality. I'm not a master with leather like some guys are here.

I'm super into the new sanded canvas colors. I love those shirts.
I'm getting the tan for sure, think I'm gonna pass on the indigo. I have enough blue shirts.

Wanted to give some love to TS regarding my discolored and frayed Olive Chinos. Spoke with Mina and Garrett through the return process and they couldn't be more classy. Really helpful and answered all questions. I'm getting an exchange for the discolored pair and they also threw a $25 gift certificate my way for the situation. That's top notch customer service.
And I jumped right in on the Mechanic's shirt. First TS shirt and I'm happy for their response. They will get more from me in the future.
