Received my Jack in Indigo Stripe Selvage the other day. It's my best fitting TS shirt. It looks great. This shirt grew on me fast. Subtle, casual elegance about it, all while feeling like your wearing PJs. Great for Spring and Summer, and dead sick with khaki too. Definitely. Wearing it today too.

bentin: I got the chinos in 34 slim and 35 slim. 35 slim fit really well out of the bag, an overall good fit in the waist/thighs/taper, but I do have 15 pounds to lose. The 34 was a little tight all over, but manageable. Decided to keep the 34s, and sending the 35s back. You were right, the TS chinos do fit a lot better than the 35 slim Ghinos.

I'm a little jealous. I ordered a 34 Slim and they sent me a 35 Slim. Not bad, just a little loose in the waist. Should have probably returned them, but didn't notice until after they'd been washed.

Ended up grabbing the navy mini floral short sleeve Jack. Been debating that when their website resurfaced with the short sleeve indigo star Jack so I grabbed that instead. Thankfully, Hayley Chill (again, best name for a TS employee) hooked me up with a discount so now I'm awaiting 2 shirts. Let's see if the mini floral takes less than a month.
I was on the fence with the floral, since I have none. It feels subdued enough and not entirely as "brah" as some of the ridiculous Hawaiian and floral print shirts I'm seeing out and about. Of course, it's all in how it's worn.

Of course, it's all in how it's worn. I just got the white one a couple weeks ago and it's great. I went with the lighter color because I was planning on wearing it in the summer and I'm not a fan of dark tops when in the sun. Enjoy!

Quick report on the TS indigo star Jack short sleeve - REALLY like this shirt. A little more room (slightly) than my other 38 short sleeve Jack and Mechanic's shirt, but not significantly. The shirt feels substantial but airy with the weave of the fabric. The pattern (somewhat muted) and the brown buttons really make this a fantastic deal.

I don't own this as a long-sleeve. But generally speaking, I'm good with both fits (long vs short sleeve). I would prefer the long-sleeve openings not be as tight, but they clearly cater to the smaller wrist demographic.

matt I tried it on in store in my usual Large and it was pretty much body fit in all areas, no way to wash it. If I did buy it I would have to get an XL but it felt too small as well. Just not my fit as I was debating on it last time I was in store.

Just not my fit as I was debating on it last time I was in store. I do the 38 (M) because I like the fit out of the bag (did this on my Mechanics shirts) and opted for the "trim" fit on the navy floral Jack and the indigo star Jack. My goal on the latter two is to cold soak/dry clean on these. I think they are spot on right now. I've cold soaked the Mechanics with zero shrink on these, so that model will continue for me.

Ok, just picked up the salt and pepper chambray and found some stitching on the front placket that looks off. Am I being too nitpicky, or is this something a lot of you guys could live with? It's hard because it's the front placket, so I'll see it every time I put on the shirt. Last time I looked, they were sold out of the shirt in 42, so it this or nothing supposedly. Thoughts?

^ And that button placement looks off. I'm assuming you're talking about the bottom button. Just the usual Taylor stitch issue with having one too many buttons on the placket. Or I'm gaining some phantom weight. Or both...

I see if they can just flip me a code for the trouble. Any reason why you rarely return? Just too much trouble?

Grabbed the last red madras in 38. While that coloring isn't exactly summer, it's on point for fall. See - those Portuguese manufacturers got something right.

Planned for the fall. haha, good pick up, you should enjoy it. i had literally looked at the last call page right before leaving the office and saw they had one in that size. i had missed out on it before (though did get the navy one), and figured i'd grab it and maybe the olive camp pants when i got home. at least you saved me some money. i have one of the madras offerings from last year (though it's a MiUSA 'jack') and then the navy from this year (MiPort 'california'). name/location frustrations aside, i prefer the styling of the californias. i need to learn not to drag my feet so often. missed out on this one and the s/s indigo cross.

I would think you could get a coupon from them by bringing it to their attention, and if it bothers you enough, send it back. I figure when we pay good money for stuff, it is expected to be top shelf construction.

I will say that the buttons look brown only in the last two close-up shots. But that's the only two in six shots. The brown does pop nicely with the sand color.
