brentkuz that's too bad about the pockets...that fabric looks great and i like the contrasting buttons quite a bit.

It looks pretty good to me. I know that some don't like the pocket size, but I have the navy version, and it is dark, with dark button, so I don't think its as apparent. I like the fact that I can put my sun glasses, with case, and be able to close the flap, and button it up, as its nice not to have stuff sticking up out of the pocket all the time. I wouldn't want all my shirts with these pockets, but I like the functionality it brings.

Yep...pockets are just silly on those. One of the reasons I returned mine. Unbuttoned as an overshirt it looks better. Buttoned up they are too large. Forearms are too tight to fit another shirt under it comfortably but that's my issue.

The flaps to the pockets also look pretty large and kinda stick out due to the fabric weight. The navy was 16 this is 19oz.

I know that guys with a 38 A-2 will balk at the "huge pockets" but the guys like me in a 48 love them since they use the same size on all of them (which is correct). Just happens to look a little better on the larger sizes, but that jacket looks good to me.

Old26 I would kinda agree with you but this is a 44 not exactly a small size.

Mine in charcoal should arrive tomorrow, also in 44. We'll see if the pockets look ginormous. I don't have Popeye forearms, so I should be good there.

So it got delivered this morning. I put it on over a thermal crewneck shirt and t-shirt. I couldn't force my sleeves down the cuffs if they were buttoned, but unbuttoning and re-buttoning was fine. The right cuff felt a little tighter than the left, but neither forearm was tight for me. The chest pockets weren't too obviously large in charcoal, though maybe there are a tad low. It fit great layered under my heavy wool overcoat too, so I'm thinking it'll be a keeper for me.

I do it all the time. It gives me a custom cuff. depending how I'll be using the shirt, I can make it larger or smaller.

Yeah, the Moto shirt was absurdly tight at the cuffs, but five minutes with some thread, a needle and scissors and it's perfect. They stick the buttons pretty far inward, so there's plenty of room for adjustment.

Bumping an old thread: so scooter gave his brother this jacket for Christmas and his ungrateful ass didn't want it! His loss, my gain. Snagged this one from Scooter and the fit is perfect. It's going to work just fine over just a tshirt with another mid layer if needed. The waxed cotton is thin and very light weight. Construction seems excellent, I'm pretty happy with this piece. One of my best first impressions with any garment I own. The corduroy is a really nice touch in those areas where the jacket might tough skin. Waxed cotton has a tendency to get cold, especially in the rain, so it's a really thoughtful practical application to account for. Looking forward to using this specifically as a drizzly northwest Oregon spring jacket.

Congrats! /still kills me how high up that last button is on the RGT shirt. Belly button? It's just above my belt line, honestly doesn't bother me though. Works fine for my taste. I've been known to leave a bottom button undone though.
