The touch of OCD in me is freaking out because the lines are misaligned down the front. YICK!

Are the inseam measurements correct? Why so short if they're gonna shrink 2 inches? I was thinking the exact same thing. That inseam measurement cant be right for a Loomstate denim. Today Naked and Famous presents their brand new fit : The Short Guy.

From my experience, they're close but the Weird Guy has a lower rise and a larger thigh.

From my experience, they're close but the Weird Guy has a lower rise and a larger thigh. Not sure if different fabrics have different measurements but my E4 have a higher rise than Gustin slim fit. Otherwise they are very close to the same. Checking their listed measurements will tell you what's up.

Actually they recently changed the rise of the Weird Guy, since so many people complained about the rise being so low. So I guess you're right, Weird Guy should now have a higher rise than Gustin slim fit, but I think the thigh is still larger, what's your opinion about this ?

I just checked and my E4 weird guy are about 3/8 bigger in the thigh than my Gustin slim fit. Front rise 1 inch lower than the E4 back rise the same. Knee and cuff the same. They are both labeled 30W. Not sure what it means that I have these measurements available.

N&F on Gilt. Some nice looking fabrics at really good prices, if you know your size. Only downside is that they are only returnable for Gilt credit.

Those are coming along nicely! Roughly how long have you had them (or number of wears)?

Those are coming along nicely! Roughly how long have you had them (or number of wears)? I'd say they have seen about 6 months of wear - maybe a little more. It's hard to say because I don't really keep track. I have washed them a few times.

Gonna pick up a pair of N&F Weirds soon. Think im in between a 36&38 according to most of the BlueOwl charts. So figured i'd go with the smaller 36 and rely on a little stretch.
Good plan?

N&F use vanity sizing too, don't they? Anyone have any issues with that? I'm a 36 true-waist, so I'd get a 34?

Refering to the Weird Guy fit, I guess...

The sizing of N&F can be vary by model. I will check the Blue Owl website fit guide for the actual measurements.

Yes, it definitely depends on model. With some, the waist can be OK, but the slim cuts can do you in. I would recommend finding a store that has them and trying some on. N/F are more widely available than many brands we see here, so finding a pair to try on is more likely to happen, especially if you are near a city somewhere.
I personally went TTS in the weird guy fit and it worked out perfectly.
If you can't find a store that has them, buy online from a place with a decent exchange policy so you can nail your size down.

Just hot soak my E4 to get all the shrinkage out of the way. Surprisingly, it had very little indigo loss in the water. Btw, I think I should stick with my normal size than size up one for the E4. It is a bit larger than my N&F especially the leg openings.
edit: they are dry now and the shrinkage is insignificant.

Well just got my first ever pair of Weirds. They fit pretty well. Waist easily buttons up, not tight really. Little too wide from the knee down though, and long of course. Would like to taper eventually. Crotch and fly are a bit short. Rise is bearable. Overall happy, and think this will be my first of many more N&F.
They're tagged size 36, but layed flat they're 38. If there were such a thing as size 35 i could probably do that. But not sure if sizing down to 34 would work?
Ive been losing weight no doubt. So may experiment with a 34 on my next pair just to see.

N&F denim is sanforized right? Likewise with their selvedge chinos? I have their weird guy fit selvedge chinos in a 34 waist but my true waist measures 35.5" and they fit fine.

The most, as to be expected, was in the length.

So tell me guys..Should i throw my new Weirds in the washer(delicate cycle) then in the dryer for a few minutes(15-20), if i:
1)Dont care about fadez. 2)Want a little shrinkage, especially in inseam length.
Am I crazy??

Any exposure to heat will shrink the fabric, especially along its length. You can either wash/soak in hot water or/and put it in the dryer at medium to high heat.
